We have the same cabin as you on deck 8, also an upgrade. We are on with you. we stay in this same cabin for our B2B. I love the tub. I get cold easy and was very cold all week except for today, so the tub came in handy. Good trip home to Jenny. Hope to see Don again on this next sailing. Keep doing what you do!!

LOL. When my husband and I were on a Princess British Isles cruise we had a mini suite and at night, if I wanted to sleep, he'd pull the curtains and watch TV in the sitting area. Very convenient!

Thank you for showing your room! This same room we will have on Caribbean Princess in December 19. We are on the dolphin 9th floor aft section. We have 91 days. 9 hours and 49 min. Can’t wait!!! We bought shirts that say “ Princess we finely made pinch me to make sure this is Real” I will post pictures of our room we got whole bunch Christmas Decorations!!!

Hi Tony! Great room tour 👌🏻 The croissant and the donut looked amazing 🥐🤩🍩 We love the Princess’ walk in closets, best way to keep the room organized and as you said it’s the same for the regular balcony rooms. Have a safe trip home ✈️🏡🌴☀️

Absolutely two of the best things that we love on the princess cruise is those big closets because I really pack a lot for a cruise …lol…and the other thing is that excellent International café that’s located on the main plaza deck ..they have the best soups every day ..a different one and the best sandwiches and the best little French pastries !!yummmm…actually one day we ate there the whole day we didn’t even go to any dining rooms !those are my two favorite things on any princess cruise ..glad you enjoyed it also Tony.

It adds special dining options at the CC dining room, a wine setup at embarkation, evening canapés, and a mid-ship mini suite with additional balcony space in most cases. I love mini suites on Princess!! Have been many times - because when I cruise with friends - it’s nice to have that extra area & have had to close the curtain a few times (my friend would come back from the casino in the early hours of the morning & she was sleeping on the sofa - and also liked to fall asleep with the tv on - the curtain didn’t block the sound from the tv - but she had her own area to get undressed & had her privacy - and she could turn on a light - and I was ok with that! I do love the way Princess has the open closet space (and so much space for hanging clothes) - nice little alcove by the bathroom & closet & safe & shelves! BTW - I have purchased a suction cup holder for a hand held shower head - I use it at home for my walk-in bathtub because the shower head is so far away (I do use the bathtub in the mini-suite, love a good soak) - and I can take the suction cup holder with me & place it anywhere so the shower head would be on the right place for me & within reach (I think the suction cup would even work on the ceiling for you tall folks - I’m so short I need the extra shower head holder low down for me to be able to get the shampoo out of my hair)! Thanks for the tour of your cabin (brought back many great memories of my cruises in a mini-suite on Princess ships)!

The power points behind the tray are for Australian and New Zealand and the one next to it is for a plug in electric jug or coffee machine which is also provided in Australia and NZ.

Good to see an Australian outlet. We're going on the Majestic in March '23 around Australia for a month. Have a mini suite on emerald deck. Really looking forward to it, we have loyalty (elite) with them so know and love Princess anyway, but first time on Majestic.

Tony, the shower head is adjustable! You can move it up and down on the rod. Or ask your room steward to do it for you. ...1st world problems.

After loosening the knob on the right of the horizontal piece, try swiveling it to the right or left on the rod to adjust distance from wall (not up or down). Not sure if this particular hand held shower unit will also bend up or down (end of horizontal piece where shower head is sitting) or turn sideways.

LOL Tony, the shot of you stretched out on the couch.....priceless. What is the reasoning behind the medallion? Last time I was on Princess, they hadn't introduced that feature yet. Seems like it's just a method to get you to purchase a wearable item. Wouldn't a keycard be easier? Also, love the rocking motion of cruising out of the Left Coast (San Francisco has the roughest seas to sail from, though). Love the videos!

Literally every cruise I've ever taken (5) and the next one coming up in December are in Princess Mini-Suites. Had plans to try something new but covid threw a wrench in those plans and due to logistical issues we find ourselves booked in another for our first cruise back! We can break out to something new soon enough, until then no complaints about the princess mini.

Oh man, those Majestic Princess baked goods. Did you find them to be consistently dry??? We absolutely LOVED Majestic Princess overall (same cruise, 2 weeks before you!), but were just puzzled by the baked goods.They all looked great, flavor was good, but they were consistently dry - throughout the duration of the cruise, no matter where on the ship we got them from, nor what time of day or night. It was perplexing! Again, sorry to point out a negative, so we'll end with this... Majestic is AWESOME, the entire crew is AMAZING, we loved the Medallions, and had a wonderful experience for our first cruise ever, and we would definitely cruise with Princess in the future.

Our first cruise was on the Diamond Princess...it was her second cruise. Our stateroom would NOT open. It got to the point that that the maintenance people recognized us. They finally figure out what the issue was on our last day.

I know this is an old video, but wanted to know if you would recommend me bidding on upgrading my normal balcony to a mini suite or even the larger mini suite forward facing ones? I'm leaving Sept 28th on the Royal Princess. This will be a 29 day cruise to Sydney from LA. So a lot of days as sea, so I know about the different extra options the mini suites offer over the normal balcony customers. Thoughts?

The “unknown” switch looking thing by the main light switch/room door is a emergency light. If power goes out it lights up the door.

Tony- There is a way to lower the shower head exactly where you want it. Don't know if I can explain it- you can ask the steward on your next cruise. You just loosen the bolt where the shower head is attached. Enjoy your commentary lots!!
