Dax has some really heavy hitting songs that helped get me through some rough patches. Depression, Life, Gods eyes, To be a Man, and Dear Alcohol were all really good songs to me personally, but I can understand why people say he is corny with a lot of the other stuff he does. As someone who used to be a big fan of Dax when I was younger, there are a lot of reasons it’s hard to get behind him. A lot of his music seems inauthentic and clearly panders to certain audiences, he can be really corny, his message from his songs gets really repetitive, and while he’s pretty talented he’s nothing special.
