I have all the yearbooks from the 3 years of my middle school. Gladly I didn’t had to pay for any. One was a gift. My English teacher at time gave me a new copy of the yearbook, including a protective sleeve for free. It’s was my last year until promotion since I was a good student, she wanted to gift me something before leaving to high school. The other two yearbooks I got them nearly 7 years after, I contacted my old teacher to asking if they’re still had some old yearbooks laying around from when I was there. She managed to track down the other two yearbooks from my 6 and 7 grade. The they were stored away at the library collecting dust and obviously wanted to get rid of inventory. So I got them with no charge.

Ah the yearbook, that brings back memories, signing them, getting friends to sign them, seeing your photos. Have my high school senior yearbook and it’s definitely hefty. I remember for that photo I had to go to a place an hour away and wear a fake suit for the photo, all the seniors had to do that. I remember it had all the hot current stuff of 2015-2016, popular movies, songs, tv shows, current events of that time. I remember the most they made it look like the new school laptops we seniors had to test out because school was reaching that point it was gonna be all digital with assignments. That infuriated all of us because those laptops sucked a lot, and now I get to remember that forever because my yearbook looks like that laptop

The yearbook was a huge part of my middle school and high school days. I remember everyone wanting to have friends and teachers write something nice on one of the pages or covers as a sendoff. I always made it a goal to try and have all of my teachers sign it like an autograph so I could have a way of remembering them...and I still have them all 11-16 years later! (I also remember in my freshman year of high school the editors messed up and gave the wrong name to one of my bandmates in the marching band. We were all a bit miffed by that.)

I got a yearbook every year of middle school and senior year of high school. They're fun to look back on (i'm 33). The funny thing is, at my schools, we did try to see who ended up in the most candid shots and it meant you were "cool" to be in any, but especially many. Our senior superlatives were very rigged. We didn't have superlatives in middle school, but the teachers gave out superlative-like awards. In 8th grade I won "Most Organized" and "Best Hugs".

Went to a K-12 Private school The well mannered high schoolers were tasked with gathering the ads for the yearbook. I think you had to be 16 and older and have parental permission, but the teachers would take us downtown to go door to door to the small businesses. It helped pay for the books and keep them cheap for us. Then all the small businesses in the area got a nice boost out of the advertising.

21:13 It's clear that at least one student put that picture in the yearbook with that caption without talking to Ned or Moze first. That is obviously an immoral act, so how would the student(s) be punished? And if a teacher were to do that, would that be a fireable offense?
@SchoolPrincipalReacts22 күн бұрын
If they were acting like a couple and the student and teacher really thought that, there would probably be no consequence. This is why some schools just don’t have a superlative like that. If it became a big deal the parents could ask for a retraction but there’s really not much you can do at that point. I’ve only seen a yearbook recalled and reprinted one time and it was because there was a photo of something really offensive that no one noticed until after it was distributed.
@contractmed121 күн бұрын
@@SchoolPrincipalReacts When I was a senior in high school, after my class voted for our superlatives, the winners were always notified and told to pose for their picture.
