My wife and I recently had the pleasure of meeting Father Pendergraft at the Catholic Identity Conference a couple months ago and to attend a Mass celebrated by him. What a gracious, humble and welcoming priest! He answered several questions of ours and was just so wonderful about everything! We wish we could be members of his parish. Thank God for holy priests like Father Pendergraft!

I’d love to see a video or know where to find the reasons for many of these postures. I’m sure some of them are for uniformity but many more, I’m certain, have specific meaning or relevance behind them. For example, why are the there two “360 degree” turn exceptions for turning to face the people during the Oráte Fratres and the final blessing?

Who is this excellent, solemn priest? FSSP, I presume. What a model for other priests.

it is not a parish. It is The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament of Our Lady of the Angels Monastery in Hanceville.

All is done with purpose, out of reverence to God and his works on earth and through others. Consider the reason why it is done.

I have to say Brian Ruane has a point. No priests were this regimented before V2. The movement was much more natural and elegant. This looks very stilted and somewhat pompous. Mind, given that most traditionalists are stilted and pompous, I can see he is playing to his audience in that regard.

We must remember this is literally an instructional video for knowing the correct postures to take: slow stiltedness for demonstration.
