One tip - before doing the oil or enamel washes, hit the model with a coat of acrylic gloss varnish. That way you don't need to worry about the solvent reactivating the laquer/enamel paint underneath.
@KathyMillatt

I find lacquers don’t reactivate with white spirit and I wanted the enamels to get cleaned up with the oil wash but it’s a good tip in another instance.

Awesome model and great video. It is kind of reassuring that professionals like you still have little issues with resin printing. Similar to your garden centre slate I bought a 25kg bag of 6mm to dust limestone from an aggregate supplier two years back. I sieve it to all grades down to dust and use that for everything from scale rocks to scale ballast and gravel to the dust for mud and dirt.
@KathyMillatt

@@KathyMillatt well as you already have the seives, next time you pass an aggregate merchant pop in and buy a 25kg bag of 6mm to dust. You will probably never need to buy another. You can always crush some of the big bits your self with a hammer if you start ending up with too many large bits at the end of the bag.

I watched this months ago, thinking how cool, but i didnt have a 3d printer. I would have no way of ever getting it, plus it looked small, i build in 1/24th 1/25th scale. Well times have changeed and i now have a Anycubic Photon. Long story short, I am in the middle of printing a couple of these right now. However i have scaled it up to 180% and its very close to 1/24th. Its going to be huge. :)
