Great advice. Thank you. Thicker and longer registration marks works good for crowded page..and just keep trying, manual or restart. don't forget good lighting on sensors cut line.

Thank you! I almost returned my Cameo 4. I thought it was faulty! Calibration is fine, Alignment was okay and everything is good but still, there are some cuttings that are not matching the lines. Thank god you mentioned about printer preferences that needs to match my Silhouette studio paper size! Im so stupid that i didn’t realized and even bother to check it. Its basic but im so dumb! Maybe i got so excited with my Cameo 4 so i cant think the basic things.lol! If somebody has the same issue as me. This is the answer!

My Cameo 3 will never cut on the lines correctly, I've recalibrated it and adjusted accordingly but no matter what it will not cut on the assigned lines. It's always off

I was having problems and decided to color in my black box with a sharpie and it worked like a charm.

Everything I try to cut no matter what I do. I keep getting registration failed. I even tried it manually same thing.

What if I did all of this and still my machines won’t register? What should I do next?

You may need to adjust your lighting in the room, as well. Change the light source or direction, try with lights off, try with the lid closed, etc. Also run a piece of paper under your blade carriage where the sensor is to make sure it hasn't been covered with a stray piece of vinyl. I've done all this, calibrated, have bought a lamp to make sure there's always bright light over it, and its always the bottom right that's the worst out of line...

works for me fine with matte printable inkjet foil. but i got a major issue, when i cover the foil for protection purposes (e. g. scratches) with shiny laminate foil: the cut is not correctly on the cot lines and on every picture somekind disortet by random.

Anything really glossy or shiny can distort the reading of the optical eye. Is it possible for you to apply the laminate, but cut it away from the three registration marks so they are not too shiny?

there was amistake in the registry marker sensor cannot read registration marks for printing . and the task of your pieces . thats what iam showing on the cameo screen

Your design or text must be filled with color or it will not print anything. The default lines at 0.0 thickness do not print. If you have registration marks turned on and can see them on the screen, the registration marks should print.

PLEASE HELP! when I printed my image, it didn't print the grid, but it did print the black box and the corners. I've gotten it to read twice but cut in the wrong spot. What am I doing wrong? I'm desperately trying to make a shirt for my grandson.

So those hash marks (the x's/crosses/grid) are actually NOT supposed to be printed. The black box and the corners are really what you need, as that's what the machine reads. The other thing to make sure of is that the design doesn't touch those hash marks at all.

Hi Lori I haven't used print & cut for a while but I'm getting the same problem as you, my Cameo is cutting the item but higher up the page than it should be. I've calibrated and the cuts on the crosses was spot on, updated the software and checked my print settings but to no avail. I have used the print and cut process many times before but I'm now at a loss as to what to do. Did you manage to resolve the issue. Kind Regards

Any help with images only printing in black and white? Of I print directly to my printer from computer and bypass the cameo 4, it prints color. But if I try print and cut it prints in black and white. I'm gonna be out of ink before I ever get my project done. Omg
