Inventory amount in Etsy is a problem with customers if it shows 9999 in stock customer leaves buys from someone else who only has 5 in stock. There needs to be a way to hide this information or put a low numbers in. Nothing is in stock on our shops so should just say on demand not a number.

why not simplify this entire process and let store owners have an option to display the item as out of stock on their store automatically instead of making store owners check if every "varient" (assuming you mean color) is in stock constantly and manually add and remove these products from their store. Printful is complicated and too complicated to understand bc of the way everyhing is written and explained.

If a product says out stock but ships globally, does that mean it won’t take that long to fulfil because you’ll just ship the product from another country?

Hi! Thank you for watching the video. In case a product is ordered but the supplier’s out of stock, here are a few things you can do: - Switch to an alternative product. - Wait for products to come back in stock. We hope this helps! Feel free to let us know if you have any more questions. :)

If a variant, for example a particular color is out of stock how should I remove it from my Etsy store? Should I "Ignore" it or "Unscync" it from prinful's end or should I just remove it from Etsy's end?

If a product or a particular variant goes out of stock, here's what you can do > help.printful.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014066379-what-happens-when-a-product-is-ordered-but-the-supplier-s-out-of-stock- We wouldn't advise deleting the product as the stock should eventually come in (if the product isn't discontinued), so unsyncing it for the time being could be an option 😊

i barely launched my store and most every item i offer is out of stock. i setup alternatives for those items, but even the alternatives are out of stock. what's frustrating is i've setup so many alternatives, there's no alternatives left to setup. all my time goes to worrying about inventory with printful, setting alternatives, etc etc. i'm talking basic tshirts and sweaters here. nothing is in stock pretty much on a consistent basis. on would think printful, seeing all this demand, would just produce there own products and or have a larger inventory stocked up. but it doesnt seem like it. they need to grow cause they obviously are in demand. there's is no freakin way i can run a stable, reliable business with any consistency if things keep going out of stock. really thinking about shutting it down before i evem start. or maybe investing in my own inventory and printers, cause this sh*t probably will not work.

This year is like no other before it and we're certainly experiencing some interruptions due to limited shipping options around the globe, however, we're stocking up like crazy for the upcoming holiday season to be well prepared. Also, when we do run out of stock it's usually a particular size or color, not the whole product category.

I am thinking of signing up with printful. Quick question. With printful integration, do you update stock availability in our store? For example if the tshirt we listed is out of stock, does it show in our store display as out of stock or discontinued? This way it will prevent buyers from ordering out of stock listings. I am asking this bcz my Ali Express product listing via Oberlo integration works this way. This feature is important bcz I don’t need to be concerned of fulfilling items that are out of stock. Thank you in advance for your reply.

All I've experienced is "out of stock" for everything and multiple sizes. Delays for "restock" well beyond six weeks? What the hell?

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many manufacturers had to close down several factories during global lockdowns, or their supply chains were disrupted leading to industry-wide stock shortages. Unfortunately, this leads to fulfillment delays for affected product categories. We can't restock as quickly anymore, therefore, for time-sensitive orders, it's better to switch to a different product alternative. Except you deactivate my products from my store instead of using the selected alternatives. Why even have alternatives if my clients can't even select them size and color they want? Literally have been through customer support and they don't know why you aren't using the alternatives.
