Cassiy, Thank you for another great video! However, everyone should be aware that Hello Custom has a size limit on items that they can customize. As an example, they cannot customize items 30 x 40 inches and larger such as blankets. As a designer of custom blankets, this was very disappointing when I tried to use Hello Custom. Hello Custom fails to mention their size limitations in their promo videos. They only use tee shirt and mugs in their promos.

I just started listing to Etsy only to get more listings up. All of my design files are organized by subject or niche in canva. So whenever I get an order, I can select to have that design printed on future orders. Jay from Jay's Way does it like this and recommends it to save time.

Hi Cassyi, thanks for another great, informative video. I will be taking notes on the personalized tips. As for the last one about just creating all your listings on Printify from the start instead of waiting til something sells, I’m a bit divided now. I’ve been following another creators example of waiting til one sells, then creating it on Printify and connecting that variation at that time. This is a time saver because most say the majority of your designs don’t sell anyways. So, unless you assume that all your designs will sell, justifying the time spent creating them on Printify first, …not sure I should go back to doing that. I’ve had no problem finding the designs I need when I need them. And it makes copying Etsy listings easier I think 🤔 anyways, stuff to think about. Thanks again xx
@CassiyJohnson2 ай бұрын
Definitely not saying it's wrong but I've seen quite a few people get caught up in the middle of Q4 with hours of work to do each day! Like I said with the templates, it really only takes a few seconds to connect them right in the beginning 1. Duplicate your template 2. Edit, change the design and title and maybe top of description 3. Publish yes there are a few buttons you still need to go push on Etsy but I just think it's a big time saver. Also just as a fun secret announcement, I am about to release a software that will grab the designs you put on Printify and create and publish your mockups onto Etsy for you automatically! So if you have your designs on Printify, then you will be able to completely automate the mockup process soon ;)

Hi Cassiy, thank you for this video! I didn't realize that they charge extra for back print so I didn't price my item correctly and lost $1 or $2, lesson learned! Also, I noticed that sometimes my orders would not let me "submit" (it's grayed out), I realized that for some reason, the address or email has "000000" in it. Also, I notice that sometimes the tracking number doesn't get added correctly on etsy, as a result, I lost my star seller status because etsy thinks I never shipped the item. So, from on, I always double check that the tracking number gets loaded correctly from Printify.

Okay, I’m rewatching number four, you say you used it for Johnson family, then connected it. Why are people connecting the listing on a custom listing? Do you mean they are checking the box that says to connect future orders on Printify? And if you change the listing from Johnson to, say, Smith, why would Printify still print Johnson…you changed it.

Hi Cassiy, thank you so much for providing awesome content like this! I've been watching your channel from the very start and it's still my favorite on the topic since your vids are so value packed :) I know it's a bit off topic, so I hope it is okay if I ask a SEO related question here that came up for me lately: If title and tags on a specific listing seem to work well, do you copy the exact SEO and use it on other items that are relevant to the keywords? Or do they kind of "eat each other up" and fight with each other for attention in a way? And if so, how much SEO do you "reuse"? Plus, is there any truth to the myth that you should not upload more than one item in a specific niche a day? Maybe SEO myths would be a great topic for a video as well, noone talks about it! I hope you are well, have a good one :)
@CassiyJohnson2 ай бұрын
I have never heard that myth lol I reuse SEO all the time and have never had an issue! I change it where it makes sense based on the design but if the SEO makes sense then I use it as is because it’s winning SEO: I don’t think listings fight each other, one may perform better but only because the design is better or something in my opinion! I like that idea for a video, let me know if you know of more myths! And thanks for your kind words about my content ❤️ I really do try to add value as much as I can!
@antlove7932 ай бұрын
@@CassiyJohnson Thank you so much for your speedy reply and for sharing what works for you :) It's awesome to have your opinion on the topic, I always reused SEO not feeling too confident about doing so but especially with bulking listings for Q4 you kind of have to if you want to create a decent amout of listings. Here is some myths I heard about, if any more come to my mind I will let you know :) Some of these are obviously bs but some might be confusing to some people as the SEO thing was for me. - The Etsy Ads algorythm works best if you choose exactly 3 listings to promote - As a seller outside of the US, you can't really make POD on Etsy work - at least aiming for an american customer base. The reason being that Etsy chooses to favor listings in the search results that are from shops who have their shop location set up near you. So american shops are always being favored, even if the products ship from the states as well. - You should only list one item for a particular niche a day: Meaning if you work in different niches such as sailing niche, baking niche, goblincore, you should only list one sailing shirt, one goblincore tee and one baking tee in a day, never three baking tees for example And your content truly is special and has a real impact, I am close to making this my fulltime income and you being so kind to share your knowledge really is a factor that speeds up the learing curve. Take care Cassiy ❤

I haven't ever sold on Ebay but it will work the same at Etsy where you need to pay out of pocket for the item once it's ordered, and then Ebay will pay you what the customer ordered, minus the Etsy fees. I think Ryan Hogue has some Ebay tutorials because I know he sells on there!

yes of course! You can have as many print providers as you like! Just consider creating new shipping profiles for those products so it reflects where it's getting shipped from and how long the processing time takes for that specific item! And if a customer orders two products from two providers, just make sure to tell them that the items are getting shipped separate so they aren't surprised when only one shows up first!

Question: do offer tees and sweatshirts with the same design in a single Etsy listing? If yes, can we get video?
@CassiyJohnson2 ай бұрын
I actually don't offer them in the same listing, I offer them in separate listings. You can combine them if you like but then it makes each and every listing a very manual process to connect to Etsy. As a beginner I wouldn't recommend it at all but if you sell for awhile and get the hang of how it all works first, then you could decide if you wanted to give that a try. Here is what you would need to do though if you're interested 1. Add your designs to the multiple products on Pritnify but save them as a draft instead of publishing to Etsy 2. Start the listing on Etsy instead of publishing from Printify - We are going to make this first one as a template that you can duplicate later so you only need to do these following steps one time 3. Add all the variations that you want - Add all of the sizes/colors for the products you're offering 4. You will have to go through each variations though and turn off the colors that aren't offered on all of the products. Like Bella canvas has athletic heather but gild an sweatshirts call it Sport Gray for example, that way only the correct variations are available for each product 5. I would then save this as a draft on Etsy and have it as a template so you only have to make this whole portion one time. 6. Then go to that draft product and click duplicate to start connecting for that specific design. 7. Then you have to decide if you are going to follow the last mistake in this video and not connect it right from the beginning or to connect it right away. If you want to connect it, then you would need to go copy and paste each and every SKU number from Printify into the correct variation on Etsy. This could be like 70 sku numbers depending on how many sizes and colors you offer
