Printing on fabric using a gelli-plate

In this video I show you how to print on fabric using a gelli-plate.
What you need:
- a gelli-plate
- fabric (I use cotton)
- fabric paint or acrylic paint

How fast does this dry? I guess depends on acrylic paint. Trying to make a kids printing class but want to use the fabric to make something at end of it like mobile or wall hanging. Also I noticed most tutorials for fabric say to use fabric medium, it's not that necessary right?
