She married Elvis under false pretenses, that is, she hid her show business aspirations from him. She stayed with him just long enough to get a good settlement, left him, got her money and got herself a movie agent. Then she sued him for so much money that he had to sell his old hits to pay her upfront payment,, making him have to live off just what he got by touring. Out of that, he had to support himself, all the families that worked for him, and keep paying Priscilla ridiculous sums of money every month. When she didn't get her money fast enough, she put a lien on Graceland. Her betrayal and the financial stress that she put him into led to his death. Yes she did well COMPLETELY off USING ELVIS, betraying Elvis, making money off of Elvis.

Mary, as far as I know Priscilla did filed for a divorced in Santa Monica, California not Elvis. First Priscilla left Elvis and Graceland and she moved to Los Angeles during their separation.

Wow. None of these people are Elvis fans. The way they insult Priscilla,and twist her words. She never said she is ashamed of her life with him. She does suffer to this day. She always kept his name. Bottom line is that she'll always be famous and making millions (or billions) because of Elvis Presley. He was the one that got taken advantage of and not just by her. But the sad thing is that he really loved her and she obviously didn't care too much about him. I think that she lived with the guy for 5 years and knew what he was like, so if she didn't like it she shouldn't have married him. But she did. Divorced him. Still has his last name 30 years after his death and 35years after the divorce (wasn't it important for him to make an "honest woman" out of her after living with her for so long, but not so important for her to take the name of and marry her son's father).

Elvis had nobody to look really after him. Every one girlfriend whores They all used Elvis ... leeeched from him icluding his family , cosins and friends to get money out of him . All the woman in his life were high end whores including Precilia ..At the End nobody made effort to take him to a rehab hospital to cure him . No family or friend or his manager help him from his addiction to precription drugs and junk food ,, his Doctor should be in jail and all his frieds and the body guards are leeches parasites professional bums living off Elvis . All Elvis had to do was get rid of the free-loaders, get off the pain med, sleeping med and uppers, fire the doctor and the Tom Parker. Then hire an accountant and start a portfolio. Elvis was his own downfall.
