Jody Carpenter Elvis was an entertainer, not a saint. I can imagine how hard it was for Priscilla to live with Elvis. It makes me sad that people feel so much hate for a woman who has been punished for loving Elvis but had to leave him to save herself and her daughter. She had to watch him kiss thousands of women and she knew how unfaithful he was. He rejected her after she gave birth. Do you really have no compassion for such a woman? What`s wrong with you? Priscilla did NOT move to Graceland at 14. She met Elvis in Germany when she was 14. Then in a couple of months - Elvis went home to the States and Priscilla stayed in Germany. She did NOT move to Memphis until 3 months before she turned 18. March 1963 and she turned 18 in May 1963.

First remember this- Elvis never told his side of the story. This Mike likes to put it around that he was tough and "his own man" So he was going around to Elvis' house while Elvis was in LV working and he was driving Elvis's cars. Jerry Schilling and Sonny West have recorded that. They went back to the house and there was was in Elvis' Merc.....cheap guy....couldn't afford his own car but in Elvis' house with Elvis' wife and driving Elvis's car. Cheap not tough. Then he asked Elvis for $50.000 to open a karate school before Elvis knew what was going on. Later when he did....Mike never paid it back. Cheap not tough. Then PP bought a place and furnished it with Elvis' money and moved in Mike. All the time that this shabby pair PP and Mike were together they lived on Elvis' dime. MIke was a kept man and he left a pregnant wife and child......you call that a man ?? Mike Stone is a cheap, cheap user.

Wow, what a manipulative calculated woman. She tells Mike Stone that he was the only one she felt comfortable with and that enabled her to leave Elvis because he was strong, or words that that effective, not to mention throwing herself at him in the pretence that she was falling over. I don't know why I am surprised, because I did read all this in a well-researched book about Priscilla written by Suzanne Finstad. The author claims that Priscilla really chased after Stone really hard. Cilla she states was the predator who pursed him relentlessly. Priscilla Beaulieu really was a piece of work, wasn't she? Another really great interview. Mile Stone is right when he said he didn't steal Priscilla away from Elvis. You can't steal someone unless they want to be stolen, so to speak. Priscilla was ready to go, and if it wasn't with Mile Stone, it would have been with somebody else. And certainly a lot of the blame for Elvis and Priscilla splitting up has to be laid right at Elvis' feet. His infidelity is well known , and Priscilla just got tired of being the obedient wife who was pretty much secluded in the castle just waiting for her man to come home whenever he wanted. No relationship can survive that kind of arrangement for too long. I've said it before , Elvis never should never have married in the first place. One man didn’t take all them. He had plenty help getting rid of those. Plus the mischief and indulgence of spoiled overage wild “kids” willing and dealing for their own selves. As legitimately ill as he was, it’s a miracle he made it as long as he did, considering the disease born with. I know ppl go back and forth on the codeine. Fact is the level was the only deadly level in his toxicology, considering his body couldn’t evacuate the toxins. Even if he wasn’t “allergic” to codeine, his system accordingly to a medical report and dr had a sensitivity to it and difficulty in absorbing or detoxing it. Plus, I think the injuries he sustained that got pushed to the side a lot, especially the head trauma(s) did more in the long run as one dr theory explained perfectly. Not pushing any conspiracy here, believe he died of digestive and heart issues, ppl make fun, but get a disorder where you can’t evacuate and see how painful along with painful side effects are and see how funny it is then. I do wonder if that certain one that went around mumbling a certain phrase, if they didn’t accidentally switch out or place the wrong pills, thus his thinking he was taking his regular but taking something with codeine. Mike states he knew Elvis "very well from Priscilla." Common sense here in that Mike was getting only one side, her side, her perception of things. He did not know Elvis enough to realize he loathed violence and would not have "actually" done anything...and Elvis even told that to Red West as he stated "...well, we'll just put that aside for now." Elvis would spout things off in "desperate anger." Also, Priscilla absolutely knew going into the relationship with Elvis which was instigated by her mother...she knew the kind of life he had to lead; his fan base, etc., etc., etc.. She also knew from the time she was two months shy of 18 when she moved to Graceland, exactly who was 'always' around Elvis and who lived in his house. And it is very obvious from this interview that (once again) Priscilla was the one doing the "pursuing" which in this instance, was Mike Stone. Mike also states "Elvis left every other woman in his life" and that is not true. Anita Wood left him; June Juanico left him; Barbara Leigh left him; Joyce Bova left him; Linda Thompson left him...just to name a few. Of course Elvis' ego as a man was badly hurt. He had always talked that "marriage" was forever thru thick and thru thin, like he witnessed with his own parents. The latter was also another piece that ate Elvis from the inside, his marriage failed; and Lisa was gone. Also, Elvis started collecting guns when his life was threatened (for real) several times to include when he was on tour as well as in Vegas. I look forward to reading Mike's book. He sounds to be a very honest/forthright man. All human beings made and still do make wrong choices and wrong decisions in life. It's part of growing up. In my thinking, Mike is courageous to put his in writing. It will inspire many people to learn from his experiences. I love the interview.

Agree but what ppl miss bc they never got Elvis’s version only the ladies, one bc he was a gentleman and didn’t discuss his intimacy or dog them, nor kiss and tell. He never forced that or himself on any of them. Pp was just shy of 17 birthday and the truth is Elvis didn’t go back to Germany or pursue her. She relentlessly pursued him with help from parents. Knowing he had a soft spot for her, understanding bring homesick for the states as he was especially when he lost his mother was sympathetic. He was trucking right along with Anita Wood so much so than P was panicking and admits she perceived AW to be a great threat to her landing Elvis. She’d beg Elvis to come visit (frankly she’s made it sound all these years he relentlessly pursued her, making it sound like all was his doing, like they had no choice but to give in, and this very thing along with other factoring issues that’s really hurt/pissed LM off and rightfully so. She expressed to her mother her deception and wording selling her image put Elvis in an unfair light.) Anita Wood stated as much and even read the letters P wrote begging, and overheard Elvis discussing the dynamic and she said she’d make the decision for them and left. Truthfully, if Anita had not left, strong possibility P would have never got her foot in the door per se. Elvis cared for Anita and stayed steady with her. She’s the one Gladys thought he would marry. He’d probably been better going the route his mother was comfortable with even though she didn’t try to run his life but had good intuition, a special sixth sense pertaining to Elvis and he trusted her judgment. I know fans, media, jealousy, envy, all take one side or another instead of just accepting the entire thing just as it is. Not one side is completely right or wrong, it is what it is, the good, the bad or ugly, lol. He was used and taken advantage of, and never forced anyone. So, it’s hypocritical for ppl to blame him and the sensationalism. He was manipulated a lot by management, entourage, lovers and wasn’t the worldly sophisticated womanizer but quite the green and still in many ways the vulnerable green boy that struggled with having to grow up over night due to his mama’s death, militarily coinciding the same time. Stealing time away from her last vital days, and serving honorably. Had to be difficult in bereavement and homesick, needing to see to things and grow up over night. ......

I'm a huge Elvis fan, always have been and always, but come on people, Elvis wasn't a saint, or even a god as people think. The man was human and was certainly tempted many times in the course of his life and career. He was fooling around long before Priscilla ever did...And Priscilla was very young and naive was she came to live with Elvis at Graceland...I'm sure at the time she thought she could end up taming him and that they both would live a fairytale-life together. When she finally matured and realized that it wasn't going to be that way, she left him. It's as simple as that. It happens every day to someone. Again, Elvis wasn't perfect, Priscilla wasn't perfect, and Mile Stone wasn't perfect. These things just happen, and there's enough blame to go around.

We only have Priscilla's word that Elvis wanted her back. Many around Elvis who were friends and relatives and even employees and girlfriends have stated otherwise. Is everybody else lying but Priscilla? I don't think so. Elvis did indeed take drugs, PRESCRIPTION DRUGS .... because Elvis had a lot of health problems most of the public knew nothing about. In addition to that he was on a gruelling work schedule and suffered terribly with insomnia. He did overuse, and at times did abuse all this medication. You should get a copy of a book published not too long ago now called "Destined to die Young". It goes into a lot of detail about the inherited illness Elvis had, which took their toll on him in the end and brought about his early death, as it did his mothers, and many other members of the Smith family tree. The vast majority of them died of these genetic disorders in their early forties too. I'm sorry I cannot remember the author's name, but if you google the books title you will find her. The book explains a lot and is truly worth reading. Don't be harsh on Elvis, Priscilla over the many decades since his death has told a lot of untruths. Cheers , have a good day .

Really? It took guts? It took no guts, Priscilla pursued Elvis since she was 14 and made darn sure he married her, she wanted his name and fame and made sure she got it. She ran after him to the US, inserted herself in his life and manipulated him by tearing up letters addressed to him etc. He rejected her sexually by refusing to take her virginity before they were married and by not wanting to make love to her after Lisa was born. You can force a man to bend to manipulation when you are pretty and deceitful enough but you cannot force a man to be sexually attracted, that is a matter of chemistry and she put him off. What's more, Elvis would be sitting in his hotel room alone and still get accused of being with some woman. Priscilla has always felt threatened and who can blame her? She was threatened before her marriage because she had to fight through manipulation to get him to say "I do" to her and then she was threatened by Elvis' genuine love of his fans. Priscilla tried to be Elvis' everything by force, everything forced is unauthentic and will break down, it is unsustainable. Elvis did not want to marry her, he was forced by her father and his manager, they practically blackmailed him to marry her. Mike and Priscilla were adulterers, she cheated on Elvis and he cheated on his wife. Mike can shift blame onto Elvis ala Priscilla and sugarcoat their infidility all he wants, fact remains Mike and Priscilla were wrong in what they did. They both ride on Elvis' coat tails, if it were not for Elvis neither Mike nor Priscilla would be known.

What I will take away from this interview is that Priscilla did most of the Pursuing . She wanted Mike Stone. Mike Stone did not steal Priscilla. Was Mike Stone still in a relationship with his wife when you started the affair with Priscilla? Normally, Elvis's finished his relationship with girls but with Priscilla, she finished with him. Priscilla was the wife. She had received the fame and fortune from Elvis. She left because she had nothing to lose by leaving. She wanted her own life and identity and make her own decisions in life. Its really about two people who met during a time when their relationships with their former partners had gone stale. The relationships had run their course. Priscilla wanted the fame, fortune and stardom that came from Marrying Elvis. But is this Fame and fortune worth it?? Elvis dies at 42 . His grandson takes his own life. It's very sad. I think Elvis would have lived at lot longer had he not been in the public eye. The pressures of show business etc impacted his life. Also the dysfunctional life styleand life has impacted Lisa Marie and her children. My heart goes out to the Presley family for their loses. Love you very much Lisa Marie Be strong

Petro I understand your point of view, though there is room for blame on both sides as Priscilla was actually quite manipulative, at a young age, having a an entire plan to ensnare Elvis as her husband at 14. With it all being laid out quite convincingly in the book "Child Bride" and how she used her feminine wiles, with other men - even at that age - to get to Elvis. She also wasn't a virgin as she proclaimed, before marriage - and it wasn't because of Elvis sleeping with her, as he would not at that age. And, it's also pretty well known - if you research it - that she slept with a local dancing school teacher, when living in Memphis, prior to getting married. While with Mike Stone, what really pissed the guys off was that she would allow Stone into Elvis' house and to use his cars, etc., expecting them not to say anything. With the truth being, too, she treated Elvis absolutely terrible in the 1976 - 1977 era when he was crying out to her. She would actually even mock him. With her not being particularly broken up over his death, either, yet she has always maintained the Presley name which has led many people to believe they were never divorced. But, there have also been decisions she has made which have definitely hurt the fans feelings. For instance, when she put her politics over Elvis' moment in the spotlight as just one example. As regardless of your politics, or mine, it is widely known that Priscilla and Lisa Marie are both liberal/leftists, while the evidence is quite strong that Elvis was a Conservative. And I personally know this because as a writer I used to do stories on Elvis and speak to many of his closest associates. One being Jerry Schilling, who describes himself as being the furthest to the left member of the Memphis Mafia, compared to Elvis and Sonny and Red, being on the other side of the right, with the other guys falling in between. While as you probably know, President Trump bestowed upon Elvis the Medal of Honor. Yet, to the fans' dismay, neither Priscilla or Lisa Marie, or any family member, for that matter, was sent to receive the honor. With their being several family members, ones who were especially close to Elvis, like Billy Smith, who would have proudly done so. Hence, that's just once instance of several, where Priscilla's own personal feelings (her hatred of Trump), over road what was best for Elvis. However, there's no doubt about the fact that she has done so many really, really good things, too! With my also not adding that during the time back at Graceland, during the days of Elvis' funeral, she had a quick make out session with Elvis' stepbrother. With these being things only really hardcore fans, know. While it appears to me, too - as she never has married again, and as she gets older, she has gotten more sentimental over Elvis. But, I totally understand your point of view, simply pointing out that there are some things she has done that do deserve legitimate criticism.

What in the World could Priscilla have told him. Regarding she was 14 yrs old and Elvis wouldn't make love to her? Elvis was not stupid, he knew no matter how much make up she put on or how high her hair was and how much she tried to act older, her Birth Certificate showed She was only 14 yrs. Elvis knew that and never forgot it. Plus the fact her stepfather was in the Military, and he would of been in big trouble. If Elvis would of over stepped the boundaries. What is her problem. She had Elvis go meet her Parents, and then she had Elvis and Vernon go talk to her Parents, so She could move to the United States and supposedly live with Vernon and Dee. When She got to Memphis, She went straight to Graceland, not to Vernon and Dees. She admitted, She was the one who would sneak out of Vernon and Dee's and then go up to Elvis Bedroom. Eventually moving in. Mike Stone said Priscilla told him, she purposely fell into his arms, knowing he would catch her. How many times did she do stunts like that to Elvis. She filed for the Divorce from Elvis, basically on the grounds of Elvis having affairs. While she portrayed the devoted sweet innocent Wife. Who is at home raising the baby. In my Opinion I feel Elvis was trapped into marrying her. She got pregnant on her Wedding night. Knowing how much Lisa-Marie meant to Elvis. Priscilla used Lisa-Marie as a pawn against Elvis. Priscilla wanted whoever she wanted at certain times in her life. Always blaming Elvis. Mike came right out and said it. Priscilla thought, she was someone special because She was Priscilla Presley. So like so many other stories Priscilla has told. I wonder if the story that She contacted Elvis, and told Elvis that she allegedly found out Mike Stone, had written a book called "How I Stole Elvis's Wife" had any truth to that. She supposedly told Elvis, she trusted Mike Stone, and supposedly he took some pictures of Priscilla. That apparently Priscilla didn't want Mike to publish. She was doing her normal begging and crying to Elvis, asking for his help, as usual. In my opinion that time when Elvis Grandmother caught Priscilla in the attic, going through Elvis's Mother's things. Priscilla was trying to be Gladys. Why else would she of been up in the attic. Priscilla also took dancing lessons, by Elvis paying for them. She claims she was modeling and getting paid for doing it, because she was embarrassed to keep asking Vernon for money. Priscilla also admitted the sign that is on Vernon's office door. That says something to the effect only employees are allowed in, all others stay out. Priscilla admitted she use to read Elvis fan mail. If Priscilla hated that Prison so much, then why is it, every single interview she gives. She always says it's like I never left. And she talks about when it was time for Dinner, she talks about the times when she was living there. In my opinion I believe Elvis loved Priscilla as the Mother of his Child. But I don't believe Elvis wanted Priscilla back. When Priscilla filed the second set of Divorce Papers, the second set in California, where Priscilla got 50% of everything. She didn't get Graceland, but she was awarded cash for what Graceland was worth at the time of their Divorce. Elvis had 3 months to come up with the cash she was awarded. He had to put Graceland up for collateral, for a certain amount. I don't remember the exact amount, it was a lot. Plus Priscilla went after Alimony, she was getting like $4,500. a month for her and $1,600. in child support. Oh ya, I buy her story, that she just wanted to have her Own life. And not be wrapped around Elvis. I'm sorry maybe I'm missing something. She was having an on going affair with a married man. She made Elvis feel it was all his fault. Made him take a huge loan against Graceland and give up a great deal of his royalties to pay her off on the Divorce settlement. Plus was receiving $6,100. Between Alimony and Child Support. No wonder Elvis didn't want to get married again. Ya, I see how she made it without Elvis. Elvis claimed it was due to Parkers gambling debts. After Vernon passed away. And the Estate went to Lisa-Marie. Priscilla had to file legal papers to be CEO of Graceland and EPE, because Lisa-Marie was only 11 yrs old. At that time Priscilla gave Parker a pay off to void the contract between him and Elvis. Because of Lisa-Marie being under 18 yrs old. It is illegal to charge a Child the amount Parker was making off of Lisa. Lisa-Marie was suppose to become CEO of Graceland when she was 18 it was then changed to 21yrs old, then to 25 yrs old, then 30yrs old. If Elvis really wanted Priscilla back then why didn't he leave her anything in his will. Priscilla claims Elvis had always talked about building a Hotel. That's not true either. They decided to build the Hotel, because so many visitors were coming from all over the World, and they wanted a place they could stay, so they could see more of Graceland. Priscilla also claimed Mike was the one who wanted Priscilla to drop the Presley name. It seems if it's true they were together for 4 years. They broke up about 2 years after the Divorce. When Priscilla filed the 2nd set of Divorce Papers, Vernon was the one who signed for them and when he saw what Priscilla was doing and what she was going for, he was furious and when he showed Elvis, he was just as furious. Because of what Priscilla did by going for half of everything. Elvis, didn't trust Woman. Priscilla is going to continue to use the Presley name until the end of her time. Very few ex-wives, become the Widow. Can't wait to read the book and then hear Priscilla's additional lies. When is she going to get her facts straight.

But loving somebody, and showing love for somebody and being consistent with that love is complete three separate entities. Because for true love to take place, it takes work lots and lots of work. It shouldn't feel like work if it does is probably not love but anything good worth having involves working hard at it and being thoughtful of that person's feelings and their heart. I think Elvis had more of a love for himself then he did for anyone else. I had no idea what to expect since my preconceived notion was that this was a physical attraction. It may have been. I didn’t expect to find how tragic Mike’s early life was or the tough treatment that shaped his life early on. He made no excuses or laid blame for anyone, including himself, Elvis or Pricilla. This is not the life for everyone but it was based on his unique experiences and how he handled them. It seems all of these characters had their emotional growth stunted and Mike seems to have handled it the best. Elvis got trapped in his teens by controlling forces he felt couldn’t escape. His circumstances were the most tragic of all, and his own father was a continuing part of his tragedy. Elvis was a precocious gifted child who developed his talent and initial image himself and then management stifled his emotional and professional growth. Anyway-first impressions but love the discussion and Mike was a unique self made character 😎

Hello Steve. I've just discovered your channel and I've subscribed. I would like to join your livestream but I'm in Australia and we have a 10 hour time difference. It will be 5:30am Monday by the time it starts which is around the time I'm getting ready for work. Lol. Anyway, I'm a little off topic here but I was wondering if I may submit a couple of questions to you in light of my absence from the livestream for you to follow up on? 1. Do you know whatever happened to Al Strada? I know he wasn't part of the original Memphis Mafia guys and only started working for Elvis in I think 1972 or 1973 but as you know he and the late Joe Esposito where the first two on the scene when Ginger raised the alarm after finding Elvis on the bathroom floor. I haven't been able to find any information on him whatsoever. It's like he disappeared off the face of the Earth after Elvis died. I don't think he has ever done any interviews or participated at Elvis week in Memphis and to my knowledge he hasn't written any books. Is he still alive and if so what is he up to these days? I heard he moved to Alaska years ago and doesn't want to talk about his time with Elvis to anyone! 2. Whatever happened to Vernon's fiancée Sandy Miller after Vernon died? Is she still alive? I think she would be in her late 70's/early 80's now as she was about 25 years younger than Vernon. She is another one who hasn't made any appearances that I know of or written a book. I think because she was lonely cuz Elvis was always gone so she went to somebody closest to him and that's how it all started that's my opinion..

i totally agree with you . No one is perfect. But i wish some people would stop putting Priscilla down all the time it disgusts me. makes me so mad .I have met priscilla and she is very nice quiet beautiful person . I have a lot of respect for her . Elvis fans wouldnt be able to walk through His beloved home Graceland if it wasnt for her, which i travel too every year august for the last 10 years .She didnt have to do that but she did cause she still loves Elvis and She said in an interview once that she will always love Elvis till her last breath on this earth. It makes me so happy what Priscilla has done keeping Elvis's Legacy alive and just wish people would give the Presley family a break . They eally have been through alot of heartache lately. i am sorry for venting .LOL im not having a go at you Candy i just agree with your comment and then i started venting away, im sorry .Have a lovely day :)

Don’t blame Priscella for leaving Elvis. It was not a healthy relationship for her. I’m glad she moved on. Shame Mr Stone was married and had children, and left his family but it is what it is. She knew she had to get out. Elvis was a drug addict. I saw one of his last shows before he died. He was overweight and couldn’t remember the words to his songs. He kept laughing. It was so sad and pathetic. But I was so happy to be there. I took money out of our savings so that my 5 yr. old daughter could see him too. I am a big fan of Elvis. Have always been and always will be. He was absolutely the most GORGEOUS man in my lifetime and so very TALENTED. His voice was AMAZING. I wish he had some help so he could still be with us today. Very sad for us he’s gone.

@Saphire Blue I did some research. You are correct in one aspect. He went downhill after Priscilla left him. But he began taking amphetamines while in the army to stay awake for his duty and after his mother died while in the army. He was in army 3/24/1958 to 1960. They say he used to steal diet pills from his mother. In 1967 Dr Nick used to get him pills for saddle pain. The toxicology report after death stated he had 5 drugs in his system. Very sad.

@@robbiejenkins4379 Stone probably doesn't have a lot of the familial health issues that Elvis had either - heart problems ran on both sides of Elvis's family & many in his family, especially on the Smith side died young as a result) as well as familial hepatitis, glaucoma, high blood pressure (Elvis had high blood pressure no later than at age 19;) Diabetes, colon problems, etc.

@@Elvisultimatefanchannel I read it in an old newspaper article that was from 'back in the day.' Newspapers Archives has a ton of articles about Elvis from the 50's forward. The service is available online and not very expensive. I've used it for years to find information relating to my genealogy research.

oh this is so exciting. im interested in knowing if Elvis knew about the son/daughter silly had when she was 14yrs old. dec 1959. she is claiming elaine elizabeth (liz) is Elvis's daughter. so her son now a woman has taken its mothers last name Presley. i dont believe Elvis is the biological father. silly will use liz to dethrone LMP i bet. liz is a scientologist. lisa is not.

She's NOT Elvis' widow. They were not married. It annoys me that she thinks and acts like she was Elvis' widow. Elvis had Ginger Aldin living in his bed when he died...I think Priscilla forgets that. Now, I am glad she turned Graceland around and saved it from being taken from Lisa. She at least did something good there. I guess that's why she still feels like she was still part of his inner life.
