@@no1nestandsalone387 Exactly!! Linda Thompson is a wonderful lady and she spent some difficult years with Elvis but still, no other relationship Elvis had can compare to what he had with Priscilla. She endured a lot being with young Elvis for so many years. Priscilla would never have stayed with Elvis for as long as she did if she was older. Her tremendous love and youth made it possible for her to stay with him for so long. People often speak about her as if they know her, all just because of what was published in the media and because of the book she wrote. I am convinced that there are many things that she has never revealed about her marriage with Elvis to the public because she is a Lady. But still, many people hate her for revealing some crumbs about Elvis. He wasn`t an easy person to live with and she survived it because, despite what people say, she has always been a very strong yet gentle, and dignified woman. And now, life has given her a blow only the rarest are able to survive. God bless her, Riley, Harper, Finley, and all those who care for Elvis and Lisa Marie.

If anybody still believes that Elvis really died in 1977 on the toilet at Graceland, then your ignorance will never be called into question. Where do you think Michael Jackson got the idea to stage his own death? He was married to Lisa Marie, remember? Jackson is currently 63 today.

I went to see Graceland in the 90's, it was an absolute time piece of pop history. My grandmother was a big fan, in honor of her I went. Like anything, things do fade. When the dead is as famous as Elvis there is a huge interest in knowing all truth about that person. I am not sure if Elvis had loved Priscilla the most from all the women who were his lovers. He could have compromised with Priscilla to stop her from divorcing him. If Priscilla had loved her husband, she would not have continued to chase, sue him for more money. I left all the conjugal wealth to my husband when I did not want to hurt him more than I was already divorcing him.

That Elvis film has got Oscar written all over it. It will win 3 Oscars minimum and be nominated for dozens of awards. This real story made millions of new young fans from today's generation!!! She has made peace with Parker????! He may have had a gentle side, but his not so gentle side played a significant part in cutting Elvis' wings, destroying his artistic dreams and himself! It's/she is a mystery to me.
@annp.whitaker4091
@annp.whitaker4091 Жыл бұрын
His 'gentle' side was probably removing chickens from hotplates when their feet had burnt too much to be able dance. Bet he ate the birds after torturing them. Couldn't get on the phone quickly enough after his biggest chicken breathed his last just before another soul-destroying tour. It was imperative that the fat fake instructed RCA to churn out as much material as possible as quickly as possible to make up the deficit. I do respect her but will never understand how she could make peace with that creature.

@@annp.whitaker4091 She is contradictory. First she tells how she was there when Elvis and Parker were arguing about Elvis' career, then she goes on telling us how gentle Parker could be. I've read she and Parker had an agreement that they would not talk badly about each other. Don't know If it's true, would fit though.

Colonel was not good for Elvis. After the 50s he should’ve been out of Elvis life. He stopped him from doing everything he wanted. Touring overseas, a star is born, etc. that role would have been good for him and he wanted to do it. It would’ve gave him a challenge like when he did aloha from Hawaii in 1973, it would’ve motivated him to get in shape and take care of himself. The colonel held Elvis back way too much

@@keelinfahy Not personally, but can respect Priscilla somewhat for the work she does. Just wish she wasn't known as Elvis's wife - she isnt. Nor is she Mrs Presley. Parker, though I never liked, even before the history began to be exposed, even in early newsclips I always felt there was something sinister about him. I hope there was a 'gentle'' side to him but very much doubt it. He worked Elvis to death and knew exactly what was happening. I cannot forgive that. A good manager would have advised a six month R&R break but he had to pay his unbelievable gambling debts - which was far more important than 'his boy'.

I've watched his movies listen to his music.been to Graceland just like many millions of fans have and everyone has. Hey Jordan. Love your channel. You don't think it's accurate that Elvis only loved Priscilla, she left him because of drugs and not for Mike Stone., that the Viva Las Vegas scene took out Ann-Margaret and replaced her with Priscilla and he wept in the limo next to a plane he hadn't even bought yet and then was so miserably heartbroken without her that he promptly died? Don't even get me started on what they did to Vernon and Gladys.
