@aleila101 From my research, Ron Tabak lived the rock 'n roll lifestyle like countless others in the music business---he was no saint, but he was finding his way out of those trappings at the time of his accident. His last recordings are spiritual and he had returned to the values that his family upbringing had instilled. That makes it less of a waste to me. Thanks for the comment.

These vids are great. I saw Prism live in Victoria BC. I don’t know the date but I’m sure it’s the 1970s.

@nemrac76 The show was aired in 1981--still trying to verify performance date and locate better quality footage. All are welcome to join our unofficial facebook page called Prism: The Ron Tabak Era for lots of memories, concert photos and collectables.

I only seen the original Prism twice, once for the freeze your ass off tour of 78' then 1980 with loverboy opening both times it was a great show and Ron was a very good front man, also the original band by that time was very tight after years of playing shows everywhere , I seen the other version of the band with Allen Harlow but he isn't Ron by a long shot! And while he had competent players with him, it just made me long for the original band...

While travelling to motocross races in the 80's, we made up our own words, as we always had some Canadian rock, like Prism cranked: ...Moto Man - we live our lives to race... Then the words always changed, cuz of who thought they were gonna win the next day. Al, we'd love to party with you guys in Kalispell sometime, just let me know -n- we'll go from there.

man, i've been looking for this forever! I remember making an audio cassette of the concert when it aired on city-tv in toronto, in the very early 80's... anywhere to find the whole concert audio and/or video?

@ThePablocruise Hey, thanks for providing a missing link in my research! This must have been the first of 2 shows Prism did there. Do you still have that tour shirt by chance? PM me if you do.

@ArcticFox1095 No, Ronnie did not drink or do drugs. He was a very spiritual man making his early passing even more of a a waste in my eyes. Little Sister
