Funniest day ever, . I was in county lockup on April fools day a long time ago in Hendricks County Indiana. Guards pranked everyone, they would say, your name, then say, ''you got ten years'', ''the judge said'', ''and this is a new way were sentencing people'' FREAKED us out until they laughed it off, lol

I did some jail time and Im 24, I got lucky and was in a pretty laid back easy going pod. And both times when I was moved to a new cell my celle was always an older kat. I swear they are the best ones to have, they will always have your back if you are respectful and cool, and they will never disrespect you. And 99% of the time they are quiet and arent causing problems just there to do their time.

Oh man, Death. That prank with the stolen canteen reminds me of something very similar I witnessed in college. Basically, my freshman year we were in dorms, and typically you had one roommate. Well, on April Fool's, two of my buddies who lived together hatched a plan with one of the guys next door to them. When his roommate left for a long choir rehearsal, he let my two buddies in, and the took everything he owned and put it in their room, then left a camera hidden inside the dorm to film his reaction. Priceless!

The level 5 I'm a CO in the pranks are rare but when they happen they are usually glorious, in our dorms we have these closets that have mesh doors with a 7 inch bolt that slides across and a hole you can put a lock on it, couple of inmates told another inmate that there was something inside that they needed,inmate steps inside and the other guys slam it shut and out a combination lock on the door and leave him in it for a few minutes,it was funny as hell ngl

Bro the funniest shit we did when i was locked up in the keys was we would scrape the filing of the state cookies and put either toothpaste or bengay ( you could get it on commissary) and put the cookies on the table in the dayroom and wait... We called it fishing. When you notice the cookies are gone you try and find the fool that took em by looking at the look on there face 😂😂😂 the funniest prank i ever seen

I have never been to Jail and I have been a preacher (licensed minister) for almost 16 years and I have preached on numerous occasions even before I was licensed. I went to a halfway house to preach once and there was a good response. I ain't trying to get paid to preach, but can you maybe share some advice for someone like me that may want to minister to inmates about the love of God?

When I was in jail, my bunkie had no manners. He would loudly rub one out every damn night after "lights out". He had zero respect for personal space. I talked to a few of the guys, and we got our hands on a used feminine hygiene product. It ended up in dudes hot dog a few days later during lunch. I've never seen a man go from smiling to vomiting. Actually, now that I say that, maybe that wasn't a prank. Just my way of getting back at him.😂😂😂

I did time in Harris County in Houston, Tx for DWI and one time two of the COs played a prank on me a couple days before I got out. They did a cell search in my pod well after they come out in the hall (i was a floor worker) came up and asked me what cell and bunk i was in. I was like "whats the deal?" The CO opens his hand and in his hand is a multi tool utility knife. he says "introduction of a weapon to correctional facility, get on the f***** wall" I knew i was leaving in a couple day amd thoughy they were messing with me i say "stop bullshittin" Then they slam me and cuff me im like "aw shot this is forreal" they lead me down the hall into the iso cell and my coworkers come by and are like "wtf" i was like "idk i think they settin me up" 5 minutes go by and they go to pull me out and theyre all like "naw we just f****** with you" i thought it was funny once i was released but they lost their shit.

Very funny. When I was in CCJ the girls use to mimic the little Chinese Deputy during lockdown and bedtime. Shed come “be quite or u have no tv tomorrow.” The girls would sound just like her. We’d be waab. When I look back only the black girls would do it and be loud when everyone was tryin to sleep. 30-50 girls in one big pod. When I first got locked up in CCJ I was in medical. Me and my cell mate had a crush on one of the guys deputy’s. When he didn’t give my cell mate the phone. She started calling him depadouche. Lmao. Also my cell mate and I had a unique trivia/riddle/puzzle book. We would right down the question and post it in the window and when our favorite deputy’s walked by they would read them and almost 100% of the time they got them right. They were smart. It was fun because yes we might be locked up but we are all humans and like simple fun conversations. It really did make the time go by. My cell mate taught me the cup song. Idk if I remember it now. Lol cuz there is no tv in medical. It gets soooooo boring.
