Thanks for sharing! Also, 700$ in bills at 10 cents a page geez. We need a better language for legal items that doesn't require writing everything dozens of times over with different variations just to get rid of loopholes.

For me, it was a mix of tech to stay under the radar. I didn’t have internet service at my place in rural Vermont - not too odd out there, but it also kept me from getting tempted into using it for stuff I’d rather keep separate. So, here's the lowdown on how I connected: Long Range WiFi: I went with a Yagi antenna. It's this directional antenna that’s pretty awesome for catching WiFi signals from a reasonable distance away (I got about a mile). Paired with an external WiFi card, it was my go-to for a reliable connection without being right on top of a source. MAC Address Spoofing: I used a MAC spoofer to keep things extra incognito. Every time I connected to a public WiFi (which was pretty much the only time I'd go online outside my house), I'd change up the MAC address. Just an extra step to mask my digital footprints. TX Power: I would alter the card's power, boosting my signal abilities. Didn't mess with air cards or tethering from a cell phone. Public WiFi was my jam, especially with the setup I had. It worked out well for my needs, keeping things low-key and secure. Hope that sheds some light on your question!

Typically if you plug in keywords like "background check, WA" or something along those lines citing the actual state that you're looking for you can find the information fairly easily. A lot of the time if you contact a police station, courthouse, or sheriff's department and you ask them how to go about requesting records they can give you that information. Unfortunately when you go about it in this way a lot of the time they're going to charge you for the information that you get. This is why I try to find it online for free first. Alternatively, with federal cases, you can also use Pacer which allows you to look up anyone who has a federal case. In addition to all these methods I also like Google Scholar which allows you to look up cases for free.
