Mr Douglas started out nice aggreeing with Mrs Davidson with the security gates open to make it more coinvent for the understaffed prison and less riots as the prisoners felt if they had SOME rights

Obviously the higher ups have no clue whatsoever about internal prisoner politics if they think Marie winter would have a calming, ordered influence on the prisoners lol

Ted is right, Wentworth had virtually no security. I mean people walk out the front door, old laides with heart conditions hop over the fence. It's good for us as it's entertaining but Wentworth is a joke in terms of prisons. It would've been better to make Wentworth a low security prison

The remake was the same. Yes, it did have security doors but prisoners were allowed in to the medical rooms on their own with a all kinds of drugs and supplies in there lol.

@markxxx21...I realize this was 13yrs ago but your end comment did not make any sense. High security was a joke at the old wentworth, but the new wentworth has CCTV Cameras, so I doubt any prisoner(s) could go out without being noticed on the prison surveillance monitor screens 😂 📹 I for 1 think there is TOO MUCH BIG BROTHER going around watching us all the time in life You can't even scratch yourself without someone watching ya from a camera outside as well as a prison! I have never been to prison or visited one, but even these RING doorbell surveillance fixture things people put outside their front doors is an invasion of people's rights and privacy!!!! 😤🫣 I know it is for our own safety at times but it's getting beyond a joke if you are coming back from a shop and walk passed a camera from someone's door with the carrier bag full of food and drink supplies and worry that neighbours are recording you 24hrs a day and night. 🙄😒
