Albania contains some of the last pristine regions in Europe. In our Iveco Daily 4x4 expedition camper, we traveled the marvellous Theth valley, and further south over Kukës, Peshkopi, Albasan, Berat and Gjirokastër to Epiros in Greece. With some detours to the Adriactic coast near Tier and Vlorë.

Amazmaz is a guelta in Mauritania. A remote and beautiful spot, a source of water and life in the middle of the desert. Chances are low that we will ever visit it. But the mere idea reminds us to keep dreaming about distant places.
