🐰In its peak during the 1950s, there’s a ‘legend’ that Masaki island’s residents held all top 10 spots among city's highest taxpayers. 🐰Currently, Masaki island has a population of only about 20 people and is filled with abandoned buildings, so the contrast of this mansion-like hotel is quite striking. 🐰The sushi prepared by Oyakata was the best I’ve ever had in my life. 🐰If you use the helicopter option, it costs around 2 million yen per night. The pearl branding is on point, from the coffee to your beautiful nails 💅 Fun fact, in the North of my very large home state of Western Australia, Broome was and still is a major pearl farming coastal town, and was largely settled by Japanese pearlers, and has a proud history with Japanese culture which is still prevalent today 🇭🇲💜🇯🇵 Oyakata has such a peaceful and happy face, he truly is a master in his craft. This was a really beautiful video, Arigato gozaimasu 🥰

All the images were so painterly, it's like walking into a painting - the sunset, the scenery, the sunrise, the dinner - all so magical.

Thank you again for taking us with you to see and enjoy an exceptional property! I love your choice in remote, quiet, elegant and relaxing hotels. The food looked great and when you mentioned it was the best sushi in your life…wow! That is really giving the Oyakata a compliment!

Made for family or friends accompanying you, the suite is so big. With the places you go looking like they are made for at least three days, you have to work to get the feel in so short a time. One night would not be enough for me. Wonderful location!

This looks so absolutely beautiful, like a heaven on earth ! The love to detail, the sauna, the pool, the cypress outdoor bath, the art in the room, the fire outdoor and the indoor fire place. The most tasty looking sushi ever. The sunset and sunrise cruises. The nature, the sound of the birds, the peacefulness - I think that is a really stunning place. I will never stay there, because for me its too expensive (I dont think that for what you get, its too expensive - its not / but I can simply not afford it). And also, as we dont speak japanese, I dont think we would get the same experience like you did. And I would feel uncomfortable to be treated like royalty, as a very normal person.

I have to admit Japan is the most wonderful country in the world after watching your video. This land seems to come out of a fairy tale. You are also very graceful and gentle, true Japanese style🥰🥰

O_O I was playing Pokémon Master EX while watching this when all the Oshawott showed up! ^_^ Makes my geeky heart proud to see Japan embrace pop culture like this! (Wish the US would do that. I mean, cripes! NYC, Hawaii, and the southwest US are the basis for Pokémon regions for crissakes!)

What a beautiful place this is. I think it'd be fun if you took a load of people as well. Love the infinity pool. I've never swam in one cus they're mostly in super tall buildings and I'm afraid of heights. This is just perfect though. And I really love the views, especially the early morning footage you captured.

Hello! For the first time Im seeing some of both of you as all of your videos you both managed to keep yourselves very private just like the places you visited 😅. I don’t believe a lot of youtubers have been to the beautiful places in Japan you have covered. Enjoy your videos very much as I won’t ever have a chance to experience such luxuries but because you have captured the essence of beauty in your travels I can also partake in the knowledge of how blessed to see it on my 4k tv, well at least I can enjoy that part 😂

I strongly prefer this style of intro. Many of the Japan travel vlogs tend to have an ASMR style to them, which I think is suitable. Of all the Japan travel vloggers I watch, this channel is the only one that uses music for the intro and outro, which has somewhat thrown me off in the past.
I love your videos, you are my motivation to try harder so I can travel there! 🫶💗

That sauna has to be Japanese style, because we don't have saunas like that in Europe. They are usually smaller, without a window and are floor to floor pinewood, with pinewood benches to sit or lie on (the higher up, the hotter it is). No kettle hanging over the fireplace, either, just the electric "fireplace" with heated rocks to splash water on and enjoy the steam. Outside, there's a shower and/or ice to cool yourself off.
The oyakata is a magician and the scenery was beautiful

Seems like a truly luxurious experience, including that sushi meal. Although the lack of traditional Japanese bathing amenities and the presence of European style jacuzzi tub and pool (as well as the sauna) made me think. Are these considered luxurious because foreign in Japan?
@its_time_to_travel20 күн бұрын
This place actually incorporates many Japanese elements, like a hinoki wood bath and pine decor, and even the sauna has a traditional tea room style. But you’re right-features like the jacuzzi and pool certainly have a Western influence, and their spacious design and sense of escape contribute to the luxurious atmosphere here✨ Since the bay-facing side might be visible to people outside, swimsuits are required, so perhaps that’s why they chose to place the jacuzzi and pool on that side, as Japanese baths are usually entered without clothing🤔
