@@PrizzaMikeCould you tell us about the wiring on the 240? I remember you saying in one of the restoration videos that you were making wiring harness with all extra wires removed. How do you tuck wiring harnesses? How do the gauges work? Where do you buy the connectors? What ecu did you use? I would watch a whole video on wiring.

Nice looking Edsel there, Edsels were a subdivision of Ford at the time (Like Lincoln and Mercury) eventually they just got rolled into the Ford nameplate. Also the Rumble Bee was a factory option package for those early 2000s Ram trucks, essentially gave them either a high impact yellow or black, that stripe kit, a body kit/exterior add ons, some interior styling cues and 20" wheels, no performace enchancements or anything, pretty much just an appearance package

OMG! Your killing me! I cannot believe you left that junkyard WITHOUT those tail lights. I bought ONE for 100$. My baby got stolen and I had the hardest time getting her back to her original self. ANYTHING GS R for DB8 is obsolete here in Los Angeles. Even videos for the sedans are rare. I looove my girl. Her name is phantom. I’m on my 3rd swap, Si, B20, and now Ls vtec. Going from 2000 Si, 99 B20, to a 97 Ls. I am not okay with the downgrading part just to be able to get that Vtec back in to restore her soul. Thank you for sharing so much about your build. You completely solved my power steering pump issue. That sound made me crazy. I can’t stand the way this engines noise is compared to the others. But that pump noise is going to help. But at the end of this video you say “The ac pump”, is that just a mistake or was it the ac pump and NOT the power steering pump?

5:34 ah, good ol' $3 admission. Out here in SoCal, LKQ raised it to $5. I also didn't find any worthwhile parts that day. Got some exercise though. 15:33 me over here with a cracked dashboard (I would have taken any color as long as it's not cracked, can always paint it with interior paint) 19:00 junkyard prices nowadays seems ridiculous; it's heading into retro video game territory and kind of defeat the purpose of a junkyard in the first place - affordability. $70 for a dash harness and a used ps pump you had to pull yourself? That junkyard must also have been a travel agency because 'they be trippin' Although the issue ended up being the A/C compressor, this still made for an entertaining video. I may be the only one to feel this way, but I hope one day the 'work truck' gets a full restoration similar to the Gloria (which looks amazing). Thanks again for another entertaining video!

Yo love this channel man I can't express it enough! I actually just fixed my wife's radio going in and out in her car and it was all down to one of the speakers being slightly loose causing it's wiring to short to ground and when that happens the amp just cuts all power to save itself. A good way to test that out is to test continuity through the entire radio harness to ground until you find a wire. (Other than the radio ground wire of course). Hope that helps cuz I know swapping out radio harnesses is not always fun.

Top tip- whenever you are trying to diagnose grinding noises, you can use a cheap stethoscope or, attach a bunch of extensions and put them to your ear against whatever you think is making the noise. You will hear the grinding much easier!

The windows not going down is a pretty common problem in EK´s you just delete the plug that conects the interior harness with the door harness(in each door that has that problem)and it starts working, maybe that´s the problem that you are having. The only downside is that you stop having a door plug.

On Mitsubishis Lancers, the LHD harness id different from RHD ones. Most sockets might be same but the pin configurations are different maybe at least by 4pins/wires. Also the door harness are independent on the body harness. Hondas should be same too? You might missed them (sockets/connectors) on the interior side.

I used to love days at the scrap yard when I had my EGs! I always sued to walk round snipping the brake/side light bulb holders out of all the Honda's so we could do USDM light conversions on our EGs :) Best find was a OEM black armrest & cassette storage centre console with the sticker on the back of who checked it in the factory - both for £15. If only EGs were that common still and cheap! Something I've always done to try and track down a sound... Use a large screwdriver as a stethoscope. One end on the part, handle to your ear and usually you can quickly find where that annoying grinding or ticking is coming from!

Instantly liked video the moment the tan dash went flying onto the ground. Destroy all tan interiors. Also in regards to the door harness. I fixed my friends jetta that had that problem and it was EXACTLY as you described. The opening and closing of the door over time made the wire connections break and start shorting on and off or against each other. Was way easier to take it apart and resolder and heat shrink it all back together. Was good as new and the heat shrink added some nice protection.
