His brake setup, you swap out and add all 3 master cylinders, lines and left rear caliper & rotor from a 2019 RENEGADE . ( last year of full split setup like gen 1 , first year of gen 2 wider suspension arms ) I did almost the same thing other than pads ( I went with EBC savere duty sintered copper pads ) The original organic pads wear very quickly. My original organic pads were gone in 110 miles. This is an excelent upgrade.

Can you do this setup on a 2016 Renegade? I have a 2016 Renegade with 19+ suspension. I also have a 19 Renegade and I know BNR just came out with the split brake kit but states it’s just for 19+, curious if I can make it work on the 2016, I’d like both to have the same setup

We thought, Could be mistaken though, that a few generations ago there were renegade had separate front and rear brakes.
@OdysseyOffroad8 ай бұрын
@@ATVonDemand that is accurate. several years ago the renegades had 2 levers and brakes on both rear wheels not just 1, i like that setup better but im sure they made the switch to single lever for cost savings. Based on what i have seen in Europe unboxing videos they still have 2 levers over there.
@esotericwally8 ай бұрын
@@OdysseyOffroad hey, from what i have seem its just one lever over here in Europe, I'm from Ireland. I have a outlander xxc 1000t model, which as road legal, its restricted to 81hp and has abs braking also, its have a speed restriction too I think, about 120KM. its great to see videos like this, its a big help in getting bike set up for xc racing or enduro races as we call them over here., maybe they can do a few more like this video, maybe comparing 2 different riders bikes or even a grizzly for xc races. i must have watched the renegade video a dozen times, the more details in the video the better. the xc part of the sport has seen less of a slowdown compared to mx i think, probably because some of us have gotten to old to race mx lol the quad scene in Ireland is very small now, the numbers are not there to hold races so much after covid, keep up the good work, look forward to the next video

Hello everyone, great video!! One question tho, i found Kenda HTR tires full set for good price, but set comes with front tires 25x8x12 and rear 25x10x12. Would it be a big impact on ride quality if the rear tires are a bit wider than the front tires? Thank you!
@ATVonDemand11 күн бұрын
@@pinkhammer123 Glad you enjoyed the video. From the factory the rear tires aretifically a little wider. Cody Tells us he likes to run the same size all the way around because the vehicle tracks better in ruts. He is also running wheels that are the same with at all four corners. If you are still running factory wheels, the tires you found would be a great choice.

Wicked setup. One thing I fail to understand is how on earth can you increase performance by making leaner than it already is? They are lean from factory so you want to starve it for fuel even more? No way in hell a high flow exhaust will “keep things cooler” you’re increasing air going in and out so AFRs are totally out to lunch. Yes having the rad kick on sooner helps out a lot but the fan must be running 95% of the time to keep temps around 90°C for optimal engine performance. That being said there must be a HP deficit in order to have more fuel range. Please tell me I’m wrong or I’m missing something. Besides that, I dream to have my outlander setup like this one day, I’m not much of a mud guy.

We will ask BNR If they can address this question for you.

@@ATVonDemand thank you 😊
@smittybert24508 ай бұрын
So you are correct on the 12-18 models. The 19+ 1000s do not have the 2-4K lean area that previous do. Also for the race tune we optimize it for a oiled foam air filter and fuel economy (so you do not have to pit in 2hr race). That being said not the whole area is leaned and multiple adjustments made in the fuel and timing. There is an increase of power over the oem tune with our ecu. Our ecu has proven hp on the dyno and also side by side real world testing.
@smittybert24508 ай бұрын
Also a free flowing exhaust can help with heat. (Ever seen a clogged muffler glow red?) this is usually on worn exhuast that the oem packing and spark arrester getting filled with mud and water over time.
@hammerheartdan63118 ай бұрын
@@smittybert2450 thank you for addressing my comment. I agree with proper tuning, a high flow exhaust will manage heat a lot better. Those v-twin engines perform the best when AFRs are between 12.8 to 13. I’m still kind of naive when it comes to tuning but I’m learning lol
