🔥🐷🔥The beetles Kai is referring to is NOT Japanese Beetles (genuine mistake on his part), but Borer Beetles, Pine Beetles, and Bark Beetles. Japanese beetles don't touch trees, but crops and small broadleaf plants. Thanks for the info Kai, love this channel ❤

Not a fan of the house to ground piers. Might as well just build a stilt house (not too close) to some trees. What would "look" the best imo is using a large tree of a good species , drill the tree , and use use (minimal as possible) house to tree bracing. Use a steel frame staircase also as a structural brace if possible , and incorporate the utilities into it. However this method will limit sq. footage of the house. *To me , the trees around the last house example didn't look to healthy. 🤔

Yeah, I can see and understand that. Yeah the tree around the last house didn’t look super well. That was in Asheville, I’m curious how they withstood the recent hurricane.
