Miss Michael a lot. Had the pleasure of corresponding with him online and he wasn't arrogant in the least. Not to knock anyone at Gi, as they do their jobs and play really well, but let's face it, Michael was Gi. He just had that "thang". See you on the flip side Michael. You're loved and missed by many.

I have a bunch of overdrives but I think if you play a very clean setting, this is the best single pedal to get a big overdrive sound from, then turning down the guitar volume gets a good crunch. Most other overdrive style pedals into a very clean amp sound stale to me unless you some stacked on top eachother. This is not my favorite pedal into an already crunchy amp

I had one of these in the late-1980's and I remember it sounding very generic and sterile. Of course I was playing it through a Peavey Bandit 65 which was the worst amplifier ever conceived.
