Don't get Logitech there pretty trash. Get literally anything thrustmaster and make sure it's belt driven. I had a Logitech and if you feel like your going to be into it your 100% gonna wanna upgrade

Steps to asetto corsa drifting: 1. stability control on 2. stick with the drift cars for the diff and angle 3.tc off, abs off 4. get a wheel 5. stay on practice mode or online so you don't have to worry about time 6. the more you play the more realistic you can tune

As others have said this game really needs a wheel (a wheel with force feedback) honestly you can pick up a Logitech wheel pretty cheap and it gets the job done, I learned how to drift in AC with one. Playing AC on controller is like playing GTA with a steering wheel

Even it's been port to consoles, the game was not made with a controller in mind. I had a controller for about 150h on pc before I could afford a wheel, it's just hell. When you will try a wheel you'll understand how great of a sim this is. Pc version is a must for mods. I'm a biker, just found out I love cars too since I bought this game a few years ago. I don't have a driving license, but I make crazy GT3 laptimes it's hilarious. If you can't drive fast cars where you live or want to drive like a madman without dying, if you want to learn how to drive a car fast like a pro or even drift with proper technique; AC is the place to be.

Don’t worry to much about getting an expensive sim rig, just get a solid FFB wheel and you will be having a blast with this game. It is hands down the best drifting game for wheels on console right now, and also the level of frustration you experienced playing this game on controller is about the same you would feel trying to play forza games with a wheel.

Its easier on a wheel with clutch and gears etc. When i played on console i had to turn the turn feedback down dramatically to stop it flicking from side to side so quick, and you've got to really feather throttle on A/C

Even though AC is designed to be played with wheels, it’s actually pretty fun with mods on my pc with a ps4 controller, not hard to drift because GT Sport isn’t very different in terms of drifting and that’s what I used to play, also I think it’s still better than keyboard since you have throttle control with the trigger and that makes it easier to drift, the joystick as well, you can move it slowly when you’re trying to counter steer. Overall I have fun with it and I’m thinking of getting a wheel sometime this year.

You can't put it in 3rd gear on a drift unless its a long track. You keep it in second and mostly on use 3rd for speed

it is possible with a control, but it took my several hours of fine tuning the steering rates and sensitivities to get it to work on pc... sort of. still spin out if i don't read how the car is moving on the road. I'm only using an xbox gamepad while I'm saving up for a fanatec sim. as for the clutch issue its not easily achievable to use a clutch without a wheel and pedal set up as a clutch has to be on a variable switch like (RT/LT) so on pc you can set a clutch by assigning the controls to a custom wheel configuration, but you have to then relocate the brake elsewhere or try to make the clutch work on a joy stick, which i have also not yet made work too well as that causes the clutch to be 50% engaged and disengage or fully engage when you move the stick in the set direction (you'd have to hold the joystick in a given direction to keep the car moving otherwise its just slipping the clutch all the time.

You can set up controller and keyboard pretty well if you want. I played a lot with keboard and I had a lot of fun. Learned how to drift on it etc. Now I am playing on wheel and it is awesome

you need a SIM. a simple g29 is $250 right now on Amazon and shifter is $60. but I’d say go all out and get a fanatec setup with a handbrake on PC with mods. it’s much better on PC with mods TRUST ME. every single drift track/cars you can think of is downloadable like all ebisu tracks, tamada, Oi Wharf (famous street drift spot in japan), fictional tracks such as drift playground, grange/apple valley speed way. so much more.

I just got asseto corsa on x box. 😄They clearly didn't put a lot of effort into the sideways physics because the very first drift he attempts sums it up. Like... what? There is no natural counter steer grip of the front wheels. Anyone who's ever taken their car out on a snowy day in an empty parking lot and thrown it around can immediately tell. However, the grip racing physics are very good and natural including the lower angle slips before you totally lose a car sideways. If you watch the virtual driver hands and wheels when you are attempting to counter steer, it weirdly denies full lock until you reach a slower speed. Whatever this is which is programmed in the game. Might have something to do with a totally off high angle counter steer feel but I think it's more likely just a lack of coding and processing power for what is considered not the focal point of the game. Or maybe the controller coding is designed somehow to make grip racing more stable which interferes with the drift feel? Enthusia is still my favorite most realistic drifting games I've played.

Hahaha I laughed watching you play, and it is hard to master. Especially on control. Using a wheel, pedal and shifter setup is key. My best mate has a VR headset too, so you can look out the rear quarter window at the wall its amazing. We all drift cars and what not, so we thought it would be easy. But in all honesty this sim is by far the hardest ever! Not being able to feel the car hurts my heart🤣. You have to adapt to the sim while using driver experience to master it. 😅😅im pretty sure by the way you drive you already know this but I had to put my info forward😅😅 Put me on the track with a 700hp drift weapon in real life and I'd feel a lot more safer 🤣 and won't feel so prone to crashing 🤪

Hi man. Once again... Get that sim setup, and bring your sim drifting to PC. Mostly Assetto Corsa. On a strong pc, with all the needed mods, that game is totally sick. One problem is, that there are no online multiplayer drift battles, just for fun drifting around. Get all mods needed, and go drift on Mt. Akina with the tofu Hachi-Roku, naw thats fun. I usually drift there with the hachi, and a shibuya track with a sil80

game is 100000% not made for controller LOL, you can make it work by editing the settings, you can google it and find pretty good settings. You also have to be really gentle with the brakes and gas, there is no clutch button for controller but you still have to act like the clutch is functioning normally, meaning you have to rev match manually by jabbing the r2. This is also assuming youre playing in manual trans. Drifing with controller is just near impossible, i been playing the game for over a year and had no luck.

Asseto Corsa from what I experience on the PC side is not really "good" on just the controller. I think the clutch needs an axis so something that can read like how much moment you input you have: like a trigger, or a stick. Idk about Xbox version tho, if in the future you move over to Pc with a wheels I'm sure the VDC guys will be more then habby to make your badass car into the game.
