Riq did punch a ball out but it was quickly picked up by the jets. I haven’t seen anyway talk about it but I was just happy to see some effort.

I thought Witherspoon played a far better game than Woolen so I don’t know where those grades are coming from.

They're both good and both played well. Woolen almost had a pick!

Woolen got cooked on many plays, second play of the game bot beat didnt find the ball and got lucky by a rodgers underthrow and randomly throwing up his arms
@therecman1318 сағат бұрын
Even on last jets play, wilson ran the post while rodgers threw a streak ball which woolen gets credit for but didnt really have anything to do with it. Kinda looks like he got beat on the post route on that play too. Plenty of other drops where woolen benefited but was really cooked

WOOLEN WOTH AN 92 RUSH DEFENSE GRADE!? I really have seen everything.
@Djamonja21 сағат бұрын
I didn't see him miss any tackles, and I'm pretty sure he had a tackle in the backfield on a run play. I don't know if that should be a 92 though.

Hard to miss a tackle when you dont close on ball carriers 😂
@Djamonja21 сағат бұрын
@@Toxyethanol He had 3 tackles and 2 were solo. Last week he had 4 tackles and 4 were solo. He's tackled well the last 2 weeks.

@@Djamonjayou fail to understand his point, woolen is scared of contact and gives up the outside and shows lack of effect on a ton of plays. If it’s not coverage he’s not showing up and even then it’s iffy at times.

@@Djamonja Julian Love didnt cuss him out because he's tackling sooooo well, he cussed him out for not finishing the play. Its the football equivalent of laying on the court so you dont get dunked on.

I think there is a lot of confusion with PFF grades and "why" and "how" this guy vs that guy. PFF grades are contextual. They look at every snap - even the ones where players aren't involved. So a DB that didn't allow any completions could get a bad grade if he played 30 snaps and his receiver got 3 yards of separation on 25 of those coverage snaps. Just because he got lucky and the QB overthrew the receiver or the receiver wasn't thrown to, doesn't mean it was good coverage. That's called luck and grades aren't going to be accurate if luck is factored in. Some of us have become a huge believer in PFF because they now use some AI to watch plays and measure things. It's much more accurate than the eye test, because we can't see what's going on with every player on the field on each play.

For example, PFF has a metric called advanced coverage grade. This is how they define how they measure and grade it: "Advanced coverage grade uses machine learning to map the separation allowed on a play to the expected PFF coverage grade the player would have earned had they been targeted. This system also factors in the difficulty of the assignment and situation when making that assessment. The variables considered for assignment and situation include play position, player assignment within coverage, overall coverage scheme, safety rotation, press coverage, route depth and play action."

they kept getting josh jobe covering davante adams in man. He cant really do that and I dont think anyone expects him to. Seems like a general defensive mishap more than him playing worse than normal.

Did they mix up spoons grades with Riq? If you win from 7 - 21 down at nearly half-time. It's a great win. Brave and resilient. Mentally tough. With big cat playing his best ever ball. With spoon on fire. Jsn turning into Jerry rice 2.0. yep that was cool for 12s but sad to see a great hof QB struggle like that. Gino settled old scores and it was good to get the monkey off his back. He finally has a positive memory of the NY met field.
