The dumount fits the Kraton 4s as well right out of the package. But will try the car in the sand here next month as there is no sand here to try them in.

Holy smokes, those Dumont tires look great and they look like they mean business! But honest question, is the v-pattern better than a straight paddle pattern of equal depth? If so, what advantages have you been able to determine, measure, and understand?

At this scale i think it's more of a looks thing. It's common in the dune world, I think it's a lateral traction kinda deal as well as a design aspect.

V-paddles are better for turning and "trail" driving, straight paddles are better for straight line drag racing.

I know, I’d it ain’t broke don’t fix it… but I wish you guys would revise the 1.9 hyrax to look more like the 2.9 version! The 2.9 hyrax have a much better looking sidewall and the side lugs look like they’ll perform much better than the 1.9 hyrax

RC is so over rated so over priced and now they pull these kinda tricks too. Pre mounted only means more burst tires so more sales to repeat customers. Remember when you could tape your own tires and make them last way longer. Well the noobs dont. Im so glad i gave up RC i do Go Karting now and its so much cheaper i never even used my RCs much so £32 for a 45min driving session once a month is way cheaper than building RC trucks to plan to run tomo then not. im just glad i started 2012 and stopped 2020 bcos those prices were insane but now its beyond a joke.

sounds to me like you're are the noob. how do you not know about the oven/acetone way of removing pre-mounted tires..... these are meant for people who want to just slap them on and run them. AKA the entire reason for the RTR market. Want them to last/not balloon, remove them tape them and remount them. But i guess you dont know how to do that.
