Try using a 1/4" nap 4" roller. Leaves no brush marks. We use emerald urethane too. Ur still gonna see brush marks to some degree

Yezzir. We use 1/4 inch rollers for certain types of doors. They work great 🤙

Id paint the interior of the panel with the brush and then smooth everything out with a fine finish 4" roller... although im sure it looked fine in the end

That’s another way to do it for sure. We use fine finish rollers on doors all the time. It just depends on the door and the pattern.

This was emerald urethane. Although my go-to for front doors (exterior) is usually BM soft-gloss

Two questions: do you add water to your paint and what type of brush do you use? Soft, hard or medium?

I do not water down my paint and my favorite brush is a 2 1/2 inch Corona Cortez. It’s more of a medium bristled brush. For some speciality paints I’ll use a Corona Vegas which is all soft bristles

Moorglo Soft-gloss from Benjamin Moore is my current favorite for front door exteriors. You can use whatever you want for the interior. Emerald urethane trim enamel in semi-gloss is my current go-to trim paint.

Mmm, that depends highly on the context. There’s a time and a place to spray. Also there are many instances where hand brushing or rolling work great.
