No they're not. First and most importantly - Columbia has a reputation for having some of the most liberal students in the country. Not all are, I'm definitely not, but it's definitely the majority. They're so far left that they actually think our very-liberal professors are too conservative. Believe me, they don't have any need to bus people in, there are more than enough of these crazies already attending the school. Second, back in the fall non-school affiliates did try joining Columbia protests, so the university adopted rules about when and where protests could occur. On the days when there are demonstrations, they close the gates and you have to swipe your student or staff ID to get in. That's part of the problem right now - the students didn't follow the new rules. But the gates are even more restricted than ever before because of this - you can't even walk through campus right now to get to buildings on the outskirts - you have to walk around it. They arrested and cleared out the original batch, so everyone currently on campus is an affiliate of Columbia.

I am so happy with these protests. Some years ago, many of my jewich Democrat friends, Democrat women friends, were persisting in believing that Muslims in America would blend in the American system as the rest of the immigrants did basically since the beginning. They now realize that nothing as such ever happens with Muslims. They flock in to find a better life but they always carry with them their religious hatred against the Jews, that element of their culture that they disguise in "Pro Palestinian" nationalist support nowadays. None ever protested against Muslims' fate in China, Syria or Somalia but they're always all on deck to protest against the Jewish State and to attack Jews wherever they can. The wake up call is now.

Genuinely your statement is incorrect in more ways than one. 1: Hamas is not Palestinine nor the Palestinian resistance. 2: Hamas was a non violent religious entity elected as government entity in Gaza in the 80s and due to Israeli government "support" Hamas became a terrorist organization in Gaza. 3: the more legitimate government of Palestinine is the Fatah of which operates in the west bank. 4: Fatah never supported Hamas and Gaza ( the people) stopped supporting Hamas as it turned violent, stop holding elections, and ultimately continued to cause problems for Israel AND Fatah further driving a rift between a free Palestinian state that would in essence act as a buffer between Israel and other terrorist organizations in the area. When I asked if you're uneducated, it wasn't an insult, it was an observation that you confirmed by your level of rebuttal of "i know a troll when I see one". Also to your credit, uneducated does not mean unintelligent. Just means that there is information yet attained to make a more accurate assessment of a particular topic. The protests are from college educated students, of which I can assess you're not, that have resources and educational experience to drive learning and critical thinking into a subject of grave importance to the protection of innocent lives. This is not national ABC, this is the local news. It's not intended for a national audience. I (unfortunately) go to Columbia law school but don't live on campus (thank God) so I appreciate seeing what's going on there. The school isn't communicating anything to us. I would have walked straight into this craziness if it hadn't been for the local news. All the school said was that certain gates were closed. Thanks to the news, I decided it would be safer to drive in and park far away from the area where the protests are going on. The idiot students would be protesting whether news crews were there or not. At least the local news helps me to make decisions about how to stay safe.
