Haha, this is awesome. I was an F-18 pilot for 11 years and now I’m in my second year of dental school. A tough decision, but I think your guidance is spot on. Pursue PPL while finishing dental school. Austin should definitely stick out the last two years of dental school and then pursue aviation in whatever capacity he still desires (commercial, national guard, GA, etc.)

what are your plans after graduating dental school then?

I'm a junior in high school and I'm still deciding if I want to be a pilot or a dentist. So far I've taken my discovery flight and I loved it and I'm shadowing my dentist to see if dentistry is right for me. Hopefully I can pick the right one for me or maybe do both? I don't know if that's even possible but only time well tell but I hope I make the right decision.

Hey fellas, enjoying the pilot playbook thus far. Can you walk us pilots through logging time for SIC in jets and the nuances of all of that. For example, the solo pilot recording time for ATP or the SIC pilot for two person aircraft.

Can you speak on if it would be cheaper/better value to learn how to fly in a different country i.e. Philippines or Australia

Hey guys thanks for all you do. I’m in a similar spot as this guy except with business. Should I fly a couple times a week during this semester? Or should I wait until the summer and fly 5 times a week to get it done quicker and save money? Thanks
