We don't know how the coup came to be, usually those things do take external funding as there isn't a single example of a bunch of dudes grabbing guns and taking on their government and winning, and we don't know what deals Zalensky was offered by the west to make that politically suicidal move that he did, going up against Russia when his country is literally next to it. Usually you look to either have a good or neutral relation with a superpower that is right next to you. But since you are Ukrainian and probably better informed with the local news, is it true Ukraine passed a law shortly after the coup that would force ethnic Russians in Ukraine to speak only Ukrainian with that not being the case before? Was that what started the separatist movement? And lastly, is what happened in Odessa true? By that I mean did neo-nazis start a riot there and pushed people in the Trade Union building and burned them alive in it? Was it the Azov?

I feel like Hitler in the years of the war had to tread somewhat lightly with how he impacted the ideology. He was the leader so any rhetorical push in a direction was bound to push the party that way The slavic peoples were not much of a threat in practice against the Nazi Regime, besides the Soviet Union who hitler obviously wanted to destroy. As a volunteer battalion, AZOV were crucial in recapturing the city of Mariupol from Russian separatists. The only reason they are now a regiment of the National Guard is because Ukraine admitted *all* volunteer battalion's into either the Ukrainian Armed Forces or National Guard regardless of political affiliation to mitigate the need for conscription, which is why volunteer battalion's were exclusively fighting on the frontlines in the War in Donbas. After being enrolled into the National Guard, the AZOV battalion attempted to depoliticise entirely, which is why Andriy Biletsky vacated his leadership of the regiment to join the National Corps political party. It's very questionable as to why a battalion that was founded on neo-Nazi principles and composed of a significant minority of neo-Nazi's is fighting for the National Guard, but it becomes a lot more understandable when the poorest country in Europe by GDP per capita is fighting a country with one of the largest militaries on the planet by proxy of Russian separatists in Eastern Ukraine. Ukraine needed everything they could get.
