24:19 it totally makes sense that he has good knowledge of countries vibes and languages since this is the guy who has probably spent less time in his own home and more in various countries just playing tournaments. And when you tend to change your surroundings so often, your brain subconsciously learns to pick up on things around you, such as languages and general vibe of a place.

Funnily enough, I originally discovered GeoGuessr due to the chess community. Another popular chess streamer, International Master Eric Rosen, happened to upload a GeoGuessr video. This was more than four years ago, before GeoGuessr really blew up in popularity. Ever since seeing GeoGuessr for the first time all those years ago, I’ve been hooked!

A chess/geoguessr crossover would be so good! Rules could work a bit like Chess Boxing (KO or checkmate wins) but instead of boxing it's a custom game of Duels where each player has 25kish health and no multis. They could do one move each then one round of Geoguessr.

No I think it’s just if the average person decides to play the game and they are put on a rural European road or middle of Senegal they are going to have no clue and probably never play again, so if most new players play that mode first and have some basic common knowledge they can see how the game works without being in the middle of nowhere and feeling dumb lol
