The reason behind the drama is Favre was the QB that literally revived a franchise. Green Bay was in a multi decade slump and Favre came in and saved us. Then he went on to become a multi MVP and at one time, hold every record a QB could (good and bad) because of his talent and sheer playing time (he'll never have his consecutive game streak broken). When he decided to retire, then come back, he split WI. Half Favre, half Rodgers. Over time, AR (Aaron Rodgers) has come to win over Wisconsinites with his cool and calm demeanor and witty sense of humor. Not to mention his MVP performances. There are still some with sticks up their asses who can't help but be haters, but this guy is mechanically one of the best QB's to ever play the game, period. Now if we could just pay the man with a Super Bowl, because goddamnit he deserves another one. 2020 season gave him another MVP, but he absolutely deserves another ring.

listen it will be next season. 3rd time a charm we will get him that 2nd ring and we will no longer lose in the NFC championship. Also if you notice Aaron is in the exact situation Favre was in. Aaron had 3 or 4 years left on his contract so did Favre. Favre was 35 when rogers was drafted and rogers was 35 or 36 when Love got drafted. Just thought I share that bit of info.

That's not true. I like Aaron Rodgers as much as the next Packers fan, but I'm not going to downplay the talent of Donald Driver, Greg Jennings, James Jones, Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb and Davante Adams among others. The Packers are probably second to only the Steelers at drafting and developing Wide Receivers. Not to mention the defenses he's had with Clay Matthews, A.J. Hawk, Charles Woodson, Sam Shields, Julius Peppers, Blake Martinez, Za'Darius Smith, HaHa Clinton-Dix, Jaire Alexander and Kevin King. We could've won that Super Bowl if Tim Tebow was our Quarterback. Lol. The 2010 Packers were very good because their defense were top notch and they were in a transition period at wide recievers between the old guard receivers like Donald Driver and Greg Jennings and the new guard receivers like Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb. Now, Rodgers has an offensive line with 3 All-Pros. With this said, yes Aaron Rodgers is an all time great but he has had very good weapons throughout the years.

9:00 A bad QB can really make a bad team. It’s true, look at the 2019 “succaneers” who had the 5th best defense by DVOA and yet the team was horrible as a result of Jameis Winstons 30 int’s. It takes all pieces to win and leadership is important, but people particularly don’t know how to look at a situation objectively.

Look up David Carr. He got hit soooooo many times early in his career. He couldn't get past "seeing ghosts". Actually throwing the ball like someone was about to hit him but nobody was. Eli Manning has done this several times in his career. It takes a certain type of mentality to not get shaken by the vulnerability you have as a QB. People underestimate and dismiss it a lot. But it's why they are so prized and protected. There is only one on each team and only 32 teams. Yet every team doesn't have a great QB. In an intensely high paying job at the highest level with only 32 positions available. You would think every team would have a great QB. But that ish is tough lol.
