@@icondones every rookie in the nfl “could be” the GOAT. But rushing for 2k once doesn’t put you in that conversation. Yeah he “could be” but that’s a worthless take, with like 1% of happening. Fun fact: At Yulee High School they made a painting of Henry on the small building to the left at 2:47 and they painted "Home of the 2015 Heisman Trophy Winner Derrick Henry" around it. I don't go to Yulee but I go to a nearby school that plays against them frequently.

With respect to the Marshawn Lynch comparisons - Lynch ran at ~85% of his max speed most of the time but gained ludicrous stability so he could take hits from linebackers (220 lbs) AND linemen (280 lbs). Henry runs at 95% of his max speed and can shrug off hits from linebackers and db's and the occasional lineman. Lynch was perfect for Seattle as we had a shit O line much of the time so we needed a RB who could make the first two guy miss while Henry has been perfect for the Titans as he can get through the line and become untouchable.

So.. in high school: -Had the most dominant season ever recorded by a RB -Averaged over 250 yards/game -Literally had a rule instated in his state that took him out of the game because of how powerfu lhe was In college: -Won a National Championship -Won a Heisman, making him the best player in college football -Was at one time the leading scorer for Alabama In NFL: -Leading rusher in TDs and yards 2 seasons in a row - 2nd player to ever have a 99 yard rushing TD

when I played college ball (45 years ago! :-), the stiff arm wasn't such a weapon; when someone gives you their arm you take it; both hands on the wrist area like you're holding a baseball bat and then you try to break his arm clean off..they don't stiff arm much after that....oh well...

I love Marshawn Lynch but I got to stick with my boy Derrick Henry. Just makes more sense in the long run. And you are 100% correct about his top end speed. They used to say and still say that once he gets going his top end just keeps climbing.

I watched this man dead ass turn one of the best safties in the leauge during a playoff game and use him as a lead blocker, I'm taking Henry over Marshawn
@UprightCaucasoid3 жыл бұрын
No shit, Marshawn wasn’t that good really. Top 5 for a good number of years but was NEVER the best. That’s Adrian Peterson. Henry is clearly the best rn. Leveon Bell was better than Lynch, AP was the best. Lesean McCoy was better too, I can’t believe that the beast quake against the saints turned this dude Lynch into some all time great lol, he had literally 4 good years in a row and 2 to start his career where he JUST got to a 1000. It’s literally 5 1000 yard seasons and one 1500 yard season. That’s it.
