I've run that hill countless times. It's definitely tough. I know a hill tougher than Patterson. I call it the Travertine Hill. It's about 3 tenths of a mile, Averages a 6% grade according to Strava. You should try it when you get back :)

I don’t know if this works for everyone but have you ever tried going fast in your warmup because I stared doing that and I felt better in the workouts and races

Some people definitely do a tempo section in their warm up! We usually just do a few good strides after jogging pretty easy and doing drills

@@tonyyoung3381 just a very convenient hill near where we live. Still makes for a very good and tough training session
