Why do people prefer over the top over through the fork ? I have only ever shot TTF but I'm curious because I see the pros shooting OTT .

I can speak from experience that every beginner uses OTT, and only after a certain level of proficiency was I able to switch to TTF and realize how much easier it is to aim.

Its such a hard skill. I got the lefts and rights down, but the elevation is sooo hard. How much you pull back, how far away, is your wrist tilted up or down,.. there is sooo much.

I just got into sling shots as a 54 year old in America, and coming from airguns and powder burners it feels natural and maybe the most fun of the three. I know for sure airguns are way more fun that powder burners, to me. It's pretty cool to see Simple Shot in Australia which is great for Nathan and the community, overall.

If you are using Ocularis Plugs with flat bands, in either TTF or OTT configurations, the plugs need to be inserted into the shooter side.

Have you had a chance to try out the New Scout LT? Thoughts vs the now SCOUT EX and the Axiom for a first time buyer? Trying to get into the game and want to know where you'd recommend to start.

Any Scout is a good start, matey. Also look at Wasp (U.K) or something cheap and simply from Asia if you wanna have a go before spending $80-90 on a frame/sling.

8:25 Slingshots are illegal in some States of Australia? I thought we have it hard with laws here in Germany. Guns are only for rich people here and only semi auto and with small magazines. But slingshots are legal, only armrest are prohibited which doesn't matter because you don't need it anyway.

Saddest thing I heard was legality. I'm a Southeast American and have never even considered shit like that. Of course now even we have idiotic Democrats trying to f up our freedoms. 300+ yrs my people have been here and fought for the Independence we've had. It's ridiculous that we have people in this world that think they have the right to restrict others. We all should have basic laws for murder, theft etc. We're having to fight for our gun rights now, rights my people died to gain. Yet some in America wanna give out Citizenship like candy at a parade and mess up what we have.
