Lyrics: I see a blue sky, Over a green lake, Vast is the grassland, This is my homeland. Horses running wild there, Sheep as white as snow, My girl, wait for me, Where my heart’s at home. I love you, my homeland, My homeland, my heaven. I miss you, my homeland, My homeland, my heaven. I see a blue sky, Over a green lake, Vast is the grassland, This is my homeland. I love you, my homeland, My homeland, my heaven. I miss you, my homeland, My homeland, my heaven.

He finally came on the singer 2018 show, after declining many times, he said, because he wanted the young people to not lose this ancient beautiful Mongolian technique. He wrote this song many years ago for his land! He still has a rock band. By the way, Hua Chenyu did integrate some of those technique into some of his songs! If you like Tengri, he and Dimash sang a duet called Swan Goose.

I am paraphrasing (badly) a fan of Tengri's who said that, when singing this song in his 30s, he sang for his country; in his 40s, he sang for his young daughter; now when he sings it, he is singing for the fate of the world. It is so haunting, and when I think of him losing his little girl I just want to hug him.

Tengri’s Heaven is like listening to ancestral voices.. powerful profound magic and deeply touching. I know of no other chinese/mongolian song that has touched me so deeply. Thank you for sharing this beauty with us westerners... its a pity that not even western musicians are more educated in eastern music... i know that they cant learn about everything but still.

Good morning Danny! Glad you like it, indeed it's Heaven by Tengger or Tengri, it's a song he wrote at the end of the 90's about his love for his country ravaged by technology. HuaHua was challenged to rearrange it in 24 hours in 2017 and he did good, at least Tenger complimented him about it, I also put it in my Patreon request, I hope you will remember Tengri's version when you do Hua's, his is a more heavenly paradise... I like both versions, although I had never heard throat singing before either. By the way, it's Tenger who taught HuaHua throat singing as he did in the beginning of New World, he does it too in 7 Personalities. Thanks and take care!

Dimash also sang a duet with Tengger in 2019 r.kzbin.info/www/bejne/bn2oiYSZqdFjh5I .Dimash met Tengri in April 2018 while preparing and recording the Singer 2018 gala concert on Hunan TV. And even then it was clear that they had developed mutual sympathy and respect. It is nice to observe with what respect Dimash treats Tengeru and with what delight and warmth Tenger looks at him. They represent in China not only themselves, but also the culture of their peoples. And this number of Tenger and Dimash is very symbolic: they sing in three languages, instruments and music of nomadic peoples sound. Well, Tenger's masterful vocal and Dimash's divine voice will not leave anyone indifferent.I know it's not a reaction to Dimash, but it would be a sin not to mention it. Best regards from Poland.

Love his performance, the song is about his homeland,Mongolia. He describes it beautifully. The grassland, how the water is so clear,the sky & the horses that run freely across the grasslands. Such a beautiful scene. When they would go hunting, the throat singing would start. They would imitate the sounds of their prey. The can also make it a waterfall effect along with the sound of blowing leaves. For me it's a beautiful sound with Tengri words of his wonderful Magnolia. Akita, 🇺🇸 lady

He is an Inner Mongolian singer. His singing is inspired by the Mongolian steppe. This is the way sound travels on the grasslands with wind, up and down, presence and absence.
@grahamehadwen3 жыл бұрын
Tenger is from Inner Mongolia. I think the title of the song should be translated as Paradise. The paradise being his childhood memories of his homeland. Since then deforestation (people cutting down forests for timber) has led to envirenmental destruction( desertification). So this song is sad. Tenger has been busy planting forrests. He is a beautiful human being.
He is doing traditional singing. Hua Hua also sings this song. And, he does a beautiful job in his own right. But Tengger is like hearing a voice from the past..Perfectly executed.

You would certainly know it was him singing if you heard him on the radio. He's a good singer, but I would have to hear how he sings different types of songs to know just how good.
