what makes the diesels lope? is it cam or bigger injector lines?

Cam or crank and yes the injectors all can make it

changing the length of rods with respect to the stroke of the crank. Rod ratios come into play with cubic inch limits and also sometimes benefit ring life. plus figure a 130mm turbo makes it lope . and a 16mm sigma fuel pump with 17mm plungers. fuel and air have to work hand in hand

well at your age I would make a plan to learn on some engine tech and go for it we need youth in pulling
