Excellent, clear, simple to follow instructions. You're a good teacher.

Thank you so much. Youve fixed all my bass track issues. And I like the way you presented the info. Slowly and clearly so I could understand.

Mate, that was awesome. Well-paced as an instructional vid should be, AND it's the first time I have understood how to do it so clearly. THANK YOU, Phillip!!

Step 1 (bottom little arrow): Command + , Step 2: Control + Shift then click.

Awesome job!!! I love this new tip. I would of just split the the bottom bass and then put another split on same bottom track where it meets up with the beginning of wave of top bass track and have it in shuffle mode. Then delete that space between and it would automatically shift over. I like how you just go command +" ," then control and shift to drag it over. Very nice!!!

how does this compare to fixing it in the recording stage? Isn't this way more precise?

Thanks for the video! Big help. Question: Command + shift is not moving my sync points. Im using Pro Tools 11. Did the key commands change or maybe my settings are not correct. Any ideas?

Thanks for the help, but this is annoying to watch. Speaks like Captain Kirk. Easily could have been a 4 minute video.

it's not just you. Phase coherence is the preferred sound of all engineers. There isn't a case where a mix is handed over to someone and they wished there was an out of phase version.. It's not some special case in which you are one of the rare people that prefer to hear things in phase. lol. It's not "How It's Made" either so talk in a conversational manner, not like Cmdr. Data. Spend less time being redundant and academic. Just say here is what you want to do. Boom. 3 minutes.

Excellent tutorial, however 9 minutes is just too long. You don't need to repeat anything, that's what the rewind button is for. Also, I feel you could have shown how to use partial out of phase as an EQ. What I know as "Phase EQ". As you said, the shot caller may prefer the sound of the blended tracks slightly out of phase.

By average standards he speaks very slowly and uses giant pauses. I think using subtitles would be a better idea in this case!
