It's a bit slower. A GPS device will substract a few seconds per k. (If you look at the board at 5:24, 1:12 per lap is 3:00 per km and not 2:52), Still fast!

Lionel complaining about going to bed early bullshit he’s loving his new workout schedule because if he’s being honest he’s finally getting the best out of himself and we’re all loving it too. Eating right dedicated workouts proper recovery that’s what the season should be then there are no excuses. Great workout with Sam and the guys.

Great stuff, makes me wanna get out there and train hard! Just want to also say, nice to see the politeness Lionel paid to his wife earlier on in the video, I think it was a simple “thank you“. Great example to us all. And finally, I’m training while I was watching this video, and the music definitely gave me a kick, but there’s nothing like just hearing the guys breathing hard, the pounding of their feet against the track. Nothing like it.

Looking good, some. And good Video cutter, did it pretty well. Sam seems had studied the kipchoge move. Keep on rolling ....😃 Say no to active forward effort, let it emerge naturally ... natural forward moving/falling effect - ....the Inline Principle 😎 May be using even your fingertips ... ? Running goes from toes to fingertips - if you using them. Those were times, when I could run ... The past is gone, Oh, it went by like dusk to dawn Isn't that the way? I have a dumb question, as an average human being, I'm watching you run at what I consider to be a very fast pace and your HR is only 135bpm. That's so hard for me to wrap my head around when my own HR is significantly higher at a much slower pace, so I'm curious, is your limiting factor muscular endurance? As in, the ability to maintain that cadence over a period of time?

The on-screen metrics are awesome, but the per mile/km paces at 5:24 don't match the times in the right column. I assume it's because the paces are based on GPS. If you are able to adjust the data, the pace per k would be more accurate as the time per lap multiplied by 2.5, so 3:00 per k with a 1:12 lap? This is obviously a small technicality, awesome video. (Also, people seem to obsess about the paces, LOL.) (Also, I love those small cameos from Erin.)

About the HR, it’s been mentioned before… Lionel has an above average heart size so his max HR is way below the average person, therefore his HR will be lower across the board with hard efforts.

I'm not nitpicking, I just wonder how these things come up so wrong? I assume you have someone (or more than one) helping you produce and edit your videos? 87 fahrenheit is 30.5 celsius, not 21. All of the reps are expressed in mile or km pace about 10 seconds/mile faster than reality. A 72 second 400rep is 4:48 per 1600m or 4:50 per mile. My guess is you are using a gps watch to measure your per-mile pace and it is exaggerating it quite a bit. Not sure why people feel the need to use GPS for workouts on a track? The accurate paces can be extrapolated from the accurate rep times. I guess it makes people feel they are running faster than their rep times indicate? Not understanding the purpose of this workout either? Too slow for lactate-clearance (which 8x400 w/60 sec rest is a classic middle distance LC workout), HR not high enough for VO2max. We used to do heart-rate 400s. 12x400m where we began next rep when our HR dropped to 120, which took 45-60 seconds. But we did them at 66-68 secs. Also, you are close to 120 HR 10-15 seconds after the rep. The reps are too short for threshold training and 71-72 per 400m isn't LT1 for any of you. So I don't get it. 🤔
