My 2023 Corolla GR makes 303whp and 310tq with only a SXTH intercooler and hot & cold side aluminum charge pipes on mustang dyno. You don’t have to do much to get 300whp in these cars.. happy with this power level.
@JG-mg3if3 ай бұрын
That’s around the number I want. You think is safe to have 320whp n same torque? So far I have Forge intake, Turbo inlet n 2J midpipe. Planning on getting K$N charge pipe, Mishimoto intercooler with pipes and want the Weldspeed manifold.
@mhk670913 ай бұрын
@@JG-mg3if its fine below 320tq or less anything above you need to do valve springs. I heard around 330tq valve float will happen at high rpm. As far as the clutch don’t launch the car out of first gear and you will be fine. I didn’t think my car would make 303whp with just a intercooler and charge pipes but it did. We ran it 2 times on the dyno it made 301whp the second time..

@@mhk67091 thanks for the info. What you mean with the 1st gear launching? So you use 2nd?

@@JG-mg3if what I mean is dumping the clutch in first is what kills these clutches. Just be easy on it in first gear

The Epsilone+ WRC style spoiler really balances out the car, following the same line as the hood from the side.

MST V1 intake is LOUD. I chose it even after the V2 came out due to it being open box. I love it. Sounds like a vacuum under 50% throttle and the bypass valve is insane. Just installed lowering springs today, daily commute feels like OEM, just a tad lower. We’ll see how it handles the canyons here soon. Enjoyed the video, keep us posted!

I'm currently trying to decide what intake I want to put on mine. Since power isn't really a major concern, it's come down to sound and looks. I'm glad to hear that the MST V1 is as loud as you claim (videos never really give a great idea what they sound like, IMO). The other contender is the Eventuri intake. It's just so cool! But it's SO expensive...

Which springs did you get?
@Vatican223 ай бұрын
@@eternal5265 I went with the Eibach pro kit and also added spacers (15mm front 25mm rear). It sits perfectly in my opinion, with no rubbing at all.

@@Vatican22do you have a circuit hood? I want to get the v1 but I've heard water can get into the intake through the hood vent
@Vatican223 ай бұрын
@@agentstarkk I don’t. No hood vents for me. For the circuit hood vents, I recommend the MST v2. I’ve had an open box with hood vents before and it sucked in lots of water. Both MST intakes replace the intake “muffler” so I’m sure the v2 will still be much louder than any other closed box. Also, that radiator cover is sweet!

Need to hear both the HKS intake and the K&N Typhoon. Not many sound clips available for them yet.

Highly recommend the Delta X mount. The V2 with a 70A durometer bushing feels almost OEM, very smooth, but stiffens up the engine movement a lot.

Can you/have you do/done a video on the center console delete in your car? I searched the channel and didn't find anything, though I may have just not looked properly. I'd be interested to see how that came out.
@circuitdemon_4 ай бұрын
We actually have not, Jeff prefers the center console delete which really helps with track days as the console does not get in the way of any shifts. If you mostly daily drive the Corolla then the center console addition seems like a great move!
