So then you should take precautions for everything. When you think about the deaths to so many things, 30% isn’t a lot. Sure it’s still horrible. But millions of people are shot in a year. Do you wear a bullet proof vest everywhere? No. Not agreeing or disagreeing with him. But it’s not as ignorant as you think. Some people are very realistic to the point that it sounds crazy. But he is realistic. There are higher percentages for every day stuff and we don’t even think about those. It’s simply because Covid is blow up that we take 30% as a high number.

You miss the larger point here. This is not an issue of "process" = but one of substance. In other words what vaccine opponents claim to rationalize their misguided beliefs represents subjective twaddle and pseudoscientific gobbledygook. That means "who" makes the claim is not relevant as what is being said = falls outside the realm of legitimate science. So people who claim to represent the medical field when what they claim does not reflect legitimate medical guidance = are just so many more idiots spouting off. Don't get hung up on perception here. Focus on what matters = what is being said - or not being said. Who does the talking is not important when what is being said is subjective rationalization.

Doubtful since anti-vaxxers as a rule are ambivalent towards "science" - or even understanding for that matter......... If you objectively listen to their arguments it is all subjective argumentation premised usually upon ideology - and ignorance-based fear. Moral of the story: you can not reason with irrationality - and the leopard proverbially can not change its spots. Ergo there is little to indicate the irrationality of the anti-vaccine movement - industry really - has abated itself in any way. They are for the most part = "lost" having untethered themselves from reality. Having descended into the hole of paranoia and conspiracy theories few ever manage to climb back out........ 🤨

What annoys me about asking about the ingredients is some people will see a big scary science word and just run with it claiming it’s bad. Or looks it up and doesn’t understand how it interacts with the body and other ingredients and also claims that it’s bad. Wait until they find out that some foods have citric ACID and claim it’s poisonous when it’s literally acid from citric fruits. I even remember someone freaking out about a Covid vaccine ingredient that ended up being salt or (sugar) or something. Wait until they find out about dihydrogen monoxide!!!! These doctors should know that it usually takes 10 to 15 years to establish the efficacy and safety of a new vaccine, yet the mRNA vaccines were made available to the public, with less than 2 years of safety data. Consider how it took 10 years to link "Gulf War Syndrome" to squalene in the military Anthrax vaccines. Bottom line: these medical professionals are being too cavalier about the potential for adverse reactions to these undertested vaccines.

@@varyolla435 Well, if your mission is to teach people who are reading this thread, then maybe you'd like to clarify what specifically you object to, in my OP. Clinical trials for new vaccines DO usually take at least 10 years to complete. And the link between squalene in the military Anthrax vaccine of 1990 DID elicit an autoimmune response which came to be called Gulf War Syndrome. And it DID take about 10 years for the link between the two to be recognized. And that vaccine with the squalene additive, DID not go through proper clinical trials to prevent its release. So what exactly are you objecting to. Please, less empty phrases in which you are obviously trying (unsuccessfully) to sound smart, and more substance.

Wrong.......but thank you for playing. If you had any understanding here - which you clearly lack - you would understand the concept of _"morbidity reduction."_ So vaccines if enough avail themselves to them do in fact reduce morbidity. That reduction reduces local case numbers -------> which reduce your chances of being exposed -------> which lessens your chance of becoming infected = hence infection has been prevented. So it does not matter if sometimes vaccinated with enough exposure develop a "breakthrough case". What matters is they represent a minority while the majority does not become infected = hence a net reduction in morbidity and thus your chances of being exposed. Vaccination is actually about *COMMUNITY* exposure reduction as opposed to protecting the "individual" per se. They are 2 sides of the same coin. If you are going to try and make a point - best to first learn the science. Just saying. 🤔

Try to think harder. Yes it can be difficult for some. With proper training and effort however it is possible. Moral of the story: a virus can not exist - let alone spread = absent "a host". So if following vaccination you reduce the size of an infectible population - then even if some go on to still catch the infection = the sum total of at risk people has been reduced. Thus means the virus has less individuals it can infect + the chances of those infected encountering at risk individuals to keep the virus going is reduced. Thus after a time morbidity reduces itself such that some places may see a cessation of new infections entirely. "Incredulity" is easy requiring no real effort = whereas "understanding" is much, much more difficult for some who are unwilling/unable to seek said understanding. 🤔

Thus their incredulity becomes a rationalization to justify what is typically an underlying lack of belief in vaccination as a concept. They are "ideologues" seeking to justify their worldview. Yeah... I mean, props to him for having civil discourse. I also understand his skepticism when it comes to political narratives, but you can tell that he looked up his facts based on confirmation bias. If he had researched facts from those with opposing views, he might be able to make a more informed decision, even if it's the same one.

Say this prayer Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name. Amen thanksss ss

@@LuckiestManAlive the reality is if you base your opinion on scientific fact and medecine without politics you'll end up agreeing with the doctors, so he's lying to us when he says he doesn't let politics dictate his behavior

@@waldo8040 That's true when you talk about the majority Doctors. But the problem is... There have been a lot of Doctors on record talking about the net benefits of a lockdown, and saying that we shouldn't do them at all. So to him, those are the scientific facts that aren't politically driven. He even mentions this point during the debate. That's what I mean when I talk about confirmation bias. It just sucks to see it take hold of so many people.

They'll have both had patients who also didnt think it was a big deal, despite dying from it days later. They've seen it all. I doubt anything could shake them and that's why healthcare workers are a whole different breed of human. Hats off to them all

Guy with glasses and purple haired girl are extremely selfish. It was so cringe and gross. That girl literally had family that died from covid but is more concerned about herself getting a temporary skin condition than her family and other peoples lives. It's selfish people like them that will keep this virus going. Purple haired girl and glasses guy would be singing a different tune if it was themselves on life support not being able to breath and dying a slow painful deat.

Actually throughout history, science has always been put down by people for years. It’s only recently that people have began to acknowledging scientists and their studies. This is only a great example of how some people really can disbelieve what others have deemed to be common fact.
