Who here uses a teleprompter system and what do you use?

This is going STRAIGHT to my shopping cart, looks like a great solution for webinars or talking to remote guests while looking straight in the camera! :)
@carlyates2487 Жыл бұрын
Absolutely! Just feed a zoom / teams call into it and feed the camera's feed back into the computer with a capture card for the return.

Yes like this, be intresting to see what there software looks like to use.

Its a nice, but fairly basic software to be honest. But it does come with the teleprompter which is good. You can use any teleprompter app you like though of course with any device you like as well as long as it can output HDMI.

Hello, I'm from Vietnam, your video has been sent to Asia, I really want to see your video, but unfortunately it is not supported to translate subtitles into Vietnamese.

It's great but man, it's so expensive for a teleprompter especially to ship it to my country.

Looks like a really well thought out pice of equipment. However with a screen brightness of 320nits, it means out doors work especially in sunny conditions could be out of the question. I presume that you could take the feed out of a camera and use this like Voxbox Pro, but not needing the director to have to sit right next to the camera? Thanks Carl
@carlyates2487 Жыл бұрын
Well, because its in a dark tent inside the teleprompter that 320 nits goes further than you would expect on an n camera monitor for example. Yes you absolutely could feed a camera into it and use it like that.

Does it has a foot pedal to control the start and stop function for solo operators ?
@carlyates2487 Жыл бұрын
It doesn't come with one, but thats just down to the autocue software. Simple bluetooth controllers will work fine.

Is it possible to feed a video signal from another camera to make an "eye direct" interview setup with it ?
@primelightdesign Жыл бұрын
Yes, that's possible. You can also feed your laptop Zoom/Teams calls into it an conduct interviews remotely.

Interesting - the main problem with the VoxBox Pro I currently use is the restriction on wide angle shots - how much of an improvement would this be?
@carlyates2487 Жыл бұрын
It's all about the size of the glass for that, and how close you can get your lens to the glass. So this wouldn't help massively in that area as its a 12" screen. Autocue do 17" and 20" options, but they are much more expensive.
@primelightdesign Жыл бұрын
You can use much wider lenses than on the VoxBox Pro. On a full-frame sensor, the widest focal length is approximately 28mm before the edges of the ZeePrompt are visible in the shot.
@Slipsch Жыл бұрын
@@primelightdesign 28mm is not wide enough my friend. Please do consider releasing a new one in the future for at least 20mm wide angle lens. Thought 28mm should suffice for interviews but I mainly use it to create content hence wider angle lens. Why do I need a bigger teleprompter? well, why not? when the words are too small, i feel that I read alot quicker than I would like. Just my 2 cents.
