My father was a semi-pro photographer, using "manual" cameras with film in which he as photographer did not know for sure what image he was getting until he developed the film in the darkroom. His skills were amazing at composition. As modern cameras get better and better they now do so much of the photographer's work that it becomes less obvious who is the amateur and who is the pro. As photos become universally "perfect" no wonder few people are actually willing to pay for photos by pros.

Of course auto framing is very useful, for a solo creator and working within its limitations, this tech was first seen with iPads and I always wished a mirrorless camera would do it, now here we are 2 Sony cameras can do it, it can only improve from here

Any improvement on the LCD screen ? Or does it uses the same LCD as other Sony cameras ?

same screen. same IBIS also same evf but with more brightness according to specs. and also just 1 card slot... again

the stabalization is bad i was thinking to upgrade my ZVE10 but i see that the walking backward is too shakky even with 20mm lens, but i like the test of walking backward so i am subscribing now hope to see same test with new upcoming models. witout good IBIS camera go to garbige

Use a gimble to. Works wonders to smooth out video. People make the worst gimble, we shake, we move, we are not smooth.

is the same IBIS of the a6600 so no surprise it sucks. Better than nothing I guess. But now you have both digital stabilization and post stabilization with their Catalyst browse software as a plus

to those out there who so demand ever more "perfect" cameras that take all of the photographer's work out of creating a photo, be careful for what you wish for---your photos will be indistinguishable from your neighbor's photos.

That was extremely unstable handheld. a gh5 from 5+ years ago is more stable

I agree. I don't think the IBIS is improved over other cameras

We are in a weird universe when the FUJI X-S20 sounds more attractive than this camera o.o probably a better hybrid than the 6700 but for all that important auto-focus (unless you were raised on manual focus), then Sony will always excel in that department for now.

Why is that a weird universe? Fujifilm make great cameras! This is a much ‘smarter’ camera though in terms of auto exposure and auto focus.

Flagship???....I'd say a nice mid range.Only 1 card slot, poor screen, ordinary Evf,no Joystick,pedestrian ES.All these things are better on the 3 Fujis and Canon R7(except evf which is equal).Sony wont win people from anyone except Nikon and Pentax(much better than what wither offer).Certainly its a GOOD camera that can appeal to plenty of people.Price is fair.
