Mille Miglia : THE G IS SILENT!

It's not silent. Its Italian pronunciation is close to the English 'Y'.

me - lee - ah For English speakers this is close enough - there are nuances that are nearly impossible for non Italian (native) speakers to master. Tomek and huffy are both kinda right - the G is silent........ish. It's there when Italians speak to each other but if you're not native then you'd spend so much time trying to massage it in that you'd fluff the rest of the word/sentance. For anyone else me - lee - ah will get the meaning across more than adequately - my dad spent 25 years managing an Italian factory and his pronunciation was TERRIBLE. Nobody downed tools and they kept making a profit, so no need to get precious as long as the message gets across. Chi se ne frega.

Its a shame about the 'exclusivity' BS with Ferrari in the modern times, where you have to buy 20 different Ferraris and sell your soul to the devil. I get its a special brand but it doesn't warrant their demands. But I'm not a customer, don't have the money so my opinion doesn't matter, and if I ever do have the money, I'll buy from independent car dealers. Edit: Babbel will help with the pronunciations😅 not paid I swear... 😂

They never did really care about selling to customers. Now it’s even worse like you said

While it does exist, the exclusivity and the whole you can’t modify your Ferrari thing is often a bit over exaggerated. Like the jay Leno story was more of the dealership that was treating him like shit than Ferrari itself. Like yea some of it is a bit much but some of the stories about it too are a bit cherry picked and exaggerated more often than not ( not saying there isn’t cases of them being full of shit, they just aren’t nearly as prevalent as some people say they are)

9:20 "Scuderia" is not someone's first name. It means "stable" and is used like we use "racing team". Mille Miglia is pronounced MEElay MEElia. Kudos for not saying JagWIRE.

Pronunciation - English is the odd one out, everyone else stuck with European vowels They're still there, in English, if you know what to look for eg a as in Apple e as in Energy i as in pizza (see, you can do it - easy ) o as in Omniverse u as in glUe So Uovo. U = oo O = oh Vo = exactly what you'd expect oo - o - vo Try to make it flow together and you'll get eggs instead of guava when ordering breakfast in Rome. Don't put an A in words that don't have an A in them! And no U at the end when it's an O.

Something isn't odd or ugly. Something or someone has to give you the impression first. Consequently , The populous is programmed into believing some thing or way is beautiful. Do what you can to not be manipulated. Beauty is truly in the eyes of the beholder.

And scuderia guastalla is not the name of a person, it means Team Guastalla. Which by the way was one of the first Ferrari dealers in Italy.

Winning the MM, an Italian institution, does not make Ferrari “exotic” ugh You’re a car guy, and wanting to be a communicator - pay the heritage some respect and look up the basic pronunciation, and then your editorial slants may have a modicum of defence.
