@@nightmareTomek well first off I hope you understand you come across as someone who submits to iodis and complains about some topic; and as such I take your complaint with a grain of salt bc it means you don't fully understand what's going on. I'd say since the beginning of iodis, harstem has always been sarcastic and pokes fun the way he does. Yes he nitpicks but he does it appropriately (if it's a gm game, seconds matter, if not, he may still point it out but will explain it isn't as big a deal). He especially nitpicks when it relates to the complaint. For ex if someone complains the other race has an army that's impossible to kill yet they keep running into the army instead of splitting Harstem ALWAYS (from what I've seen) addresses the issues directly brought in question and throughout the video, and whether literal or sarcastic, explains what is right and what isn't and what should be done. If all you hear is "you're so bad nothing you do makes sense, you should question your life choices", then (and I mean this politely) you're missing the point and are just too sensitive

Lmao, Harstem your cannon in D (and therefore mine) was clearly the best. I’m the Terran in the replay. I really struggle with incorporating ghosts into my army as it delays my reaction times tabbing through the control group and i end up misclicking a lot. I never understood what caused a pro to expand or not I just thought the earlier I could get away with it the better. I guess in this game I just didn’t get away with it. Watching this replay through the tosses eyes his map control and multitasking far outperformed mine and he was much faster which I guess also feels bad.

@@shadowdwelling222 I mean this makes sense at gold league, but in masters you definatly need the income. Usually a couple mines and maybe a bunker will handle harass easily, however most of the time just using reinforcements coming out of your rax should handle counter attacks. In masters league you definatly need to learn to multitask at least to defend harass, if you cannot do that you should not really be in macro masters league. You'd need to make up for this in some massive way to get a higher ranking.

No scout, no splits, greedy 3rd base, no vision, terrible built order, no multi tasking drop harass. Vs a protoss that has higher apm, good scout, map vision, constant harass etc. I'm surprise the Terran can even survive that long and even had opportunities to win.

My theory for why he has the lowest wr vs toss is bc its the matchup where he cant do whatever he wants and feels the pain of having to play defensive. he probably wins early/mid vs zerg before they get in gear, and idk what goes on in tvt but it certainly doesnt 'require' being defensive. Aggro players that have to play on the back foot and then complain about it is music to my ears

The problem was that the 3rd base wasn't even greedy. Greedy would mean that there would actually be scvs mining from it, but all the minerals were spend on marines instead, so the eco wasn't even good

In this case he didn't succeed cause he got contained hard and had to spend minerals on marines instead to survive. Also, his 3rd base was earlier than the Protoss and he was sending SCVs to it too, he was definitely being greedy.

It seems a bit too much, but I can’t say I’ve seen ghosts in bunkers too often. I have a feeling if you need your ghosts in a bunker, the game is probably over and some snipes won’t save you. However unlikely, I’d still say it’s imbalanced because you can’t interrupt it like normal

This proves Terrans only complain about Protoss imba only because they suck at it. Protoss is always at the bottom of the races since their options are usually just a ball while Terrans can marine drop, multitask, EMP, widowmines and so much more compared to Protoss only has a few options, they're strong but only in a ball unlike Terran are still strong in segregated armies.

I outmicroed him in every major fight by a lot and had consistent upgrade leads. Obviously this came at a cost as he outmultitasked me and blast an infinite amount of workers. My decision make was spot on at every point, and I kept my money spent a lot better than him. The better player won but there was a lot that went into both sides

I’ve just lost so many games after a certain mmr because like Harstem says try walking accross the map with 20 marines and get there with 10. It's kinda boring how in so many of these replays the one who lost was just down in workers a lot. Sure when you play you don't know how much the enemy has unless you're able to literally count them but you can check the graphs after the game at least before sending the replay.

Also, I took some great fights I thought would be decisive and Harstem seemed to agree with all decision making aside from the planetary. I don't even have to proxy my barracks to break a protoss within 3.5 minutes with pure vanilla Marines if they even for a SECOND mess up their opener.
