Problem: BIG couch, narrow doorway! Solution: Take part of the couch apart!

Welcome to Jen & Eli Conquer All! Sometimes no amount of angling will get a 28 and 3/8 inches wide couch through a 28 inch wide doorway! Because the framework on the couch isn't super complicated, watch as we open the couch and remove only what we need to to get it inside! such an easy process and it looks good as new when we're done! I got to get an old wore out couch out of my basement family room and this video revealed so much good info. This idea is far better than me using my saw-zaw 😂

Hahaha dude! I measured the couch like that. Appreciate the video, you two are great. They need to figure out a better way to make furniture so it can be taken apart easier.

Found this when doing some research on the right way of partially dissembling our solid 90s couch to bring it in our new house. So we can avoid having to haul it through a large window and renting a truck again. We had the same conclusion of getting the top loose. Its not even that big (basically a loveseat) it just has too much soild wood so the legs dont come off easy and it cant squeeze through a townhome doorway 😂

Good job. We are getting a new couch delivered in a couple weeks, I figured this would be the process.

Thanks so much for the inspiration!! Someone gave me a couch that I envisioned would look great in my upstairs bedroom. I managed to get it up to the top stair but it was 3/4" too long. I ended up smashing out the ceiling drywall to allow enough room for the couch to just slip by. The couch is upstairs but now I can't manage to get it passed the hallway into the room. I'll definitely take it apart like you guys did. Thanks.
