I got some Raptor fuse holders. I needed to replace that fuse holder and wire the same day. I didn’t have time to wait for shipping lol. But Raptor is pretty good quality

@@SubwooferKing100 I've had to fix many of my friends power wire because of those type of holders with the glass fuses. But, I gotta admit that it's because they be buying the cheap stuff or it was a horrible install. LOL!

The fuseholders that bolt down wafer fuses make a better connection than the ones that hold glass fuses. I've had that same issue in the past.

Yeah man looks like your fuse holder was arcing and creating heat exactly like mine was! The problem was it wasn't tight enough because it came loose, my 300 amp fuse is still good too I temporarily remove the fuse out the mix, tape&heat skrink the wires edges where they connect into the amp, tighten the amp terminals as tight as I can possibly get them and now it Beats so much harder! I know you should never run direct but my wires will never touch! Those terminals are super tight! A fuse is for cutting the power if both wires comes into contact with each others but Sometimes this month I'll order a better fuse holder from D4s or gpaudio. AS A PRECAUTION I TURNED AMP GAIN TO 35-40% AND AMP LOCATION IS ON A BOARD ON THE BACK SEAT NOT THE SUB ENCLOSURE! I don't believe it will ever short circuit but who knows lol You should really give soundqubed another try! Their hdx3 are taller and takes way more power! I heard two hdc3 and they were great but the taller basket drop the fs lower and now their more efficient and sounds more natural on the lows....I'm giving one around 2500-2800 watts and it's rated for 1500rms... My partner has 2 RE Audio xx 15s and my 1 sub sounds damn near identical! But on that note Soundqubed won't have anything in til October. I been trying to buy a hdx4 18 for 10 months now. I called twice and it's October. We probably be getting an email in mid or late September when they restock. FI Car Audio out of stock too! Haven't called them

I.had this happen with my old fosgate t4000.1 from resistance. It melted the fuse housing. It was that type of fuse holder where you slide the wire in the lug and screw down on it, ill never use them type of fuse holders... to much resistance in them

Sometimes it may seen like both subs are playing when one is disconnected. Sorry commented before watching. Those look like the Stinger fuse holders. I use to use those myself them switch out for the SMD ones.

It’s okay I understand. But yeah it’s a Stinger! I’m not using those style of fuse holders anymore. I have some Raptor fuse holders now!

I have the EVLs,,, i do like sealed boxes cause they are so mean and clean,, contemplating on 3 18s sealed, or 2 zvx 18 s ported,, your system just DUMPS ... lol omg ,,, i have a 4 runner,, il have to foam the sides like you did,,,. yea so i just got the 4500skv2 amp and some EVLs and its dumpin. Im havin fun with it.. man im tellin you that sound quality of the sealed boxes has got me spoiled and i just like more woofers to get that loudness.. however the EVL subs ts is like 31hz,,, like dam,, sealed that matters alot,, ive had a 15 inch sub with a ts of 26hz hit lower kinda. So i need like a dc audio level 4 18 ts 26hz. and get 3 of em.. I can build the box wider and not as tall, keep all my view. man that would be insaine. Might get them zvxs

It all depends. You won’t be disappointed either way! 2 zvx 18’s in a ported box will definitely give you a kick in the chest with SPL lol

​@@SubwooferKing100 I might do 3 lethal injection 18s sealed.. THey have that 26hz ts and they ask for a pretty big box even sealed. I know from the past i like my 15s sealed for sure, but for some reason with 12s i kinda like em ported. No air really. but the 18s ported man, thats gotta be some port noise and wind huh? I dont really like wind or port noise. Just solid murder bass. Man just my sealed EVLs make make people on the street do that quick head turn when it hits em right, like OMG whats that i never heard that before. lol

Connection issues. I always use anl fuse holders with studs to prevent things like this

Yeah. I immediately replaced my fuse holders with better quality ones that won’t come unscrewed so easily. I’m actually happy this happened to me, because I wasn’t thinking about fuse holders being a failure point until now! I’m making sure everything is top quality & safe now!
