My vet boss is terrified of snakes, when I got my ball python she told me I was on my own. Vet school doesn't teach much about exotics (and any honest vet should admit that).

I don’t understand the whole thing on “medical” videos. I watched an entire video of a resection of a brain tumour on KZbin. Anyways, I love these videos. They are so informative. I think they are very important for reptile keepers to see…not so they can necessarily take matters into their their own hands but to have a better understanding of the animals they are keeping.

These are my favourite videos. Poor snake must be so uncomfortable. Egg bound and stressed. I like the way Kevin was able to realign the eggs, find the sheath, and evacuate her eggs. Does she need antibiotics to avoid infection after the procedure?

In this case I’d say none or very little. Discomfort for sure. In other cases that is otherwise and can be quite life threatening.

HEY the medical vidoes are back!! This was some of the best content here, along with the reptile behaviour stuff. I had no idea how wierd but fascinating their anatomy could be. Theres a lot that can go wrong with human pregnancies but eggs just getting stuck during ovulation and rotting right in the fallopian tube is...not usually one of them, fortunately.
