Problem with the Suzuki ltz 50cc!!! My son is 😢 upset. Part 1

Own this tab for 2yrs and is started smoking out the exhaust, when I removed the air filter it was completely full of oil, changed engine oil and cleaned air filter reinstalled and it has no power bogs down from half throttle and up. Checked spark plug adjusted valves cleaned carburetor main jet pilot jet and all ports ran better but still bogs down also checked compression it was around 110 psi any help will be appreciated
0.004 intake valve

Carburator problem, check as there is a screw there you can adjust , play a bit around that and will work, they are extremely slow and weak quads so remove speed limiter from belt, maybe upgrade cdi as last expensive option , drill few holes in exhaust or remove silencer, by the time you sort out u need bigger engine, i did the same

It's the cdi. Buy a dynatek programmer and remover the speed collar. Also why are you changing oil already? Check the high speed jet.

Not the cdi box, and not the jet, it was the part throttle screw since I’m new to this I did t know this screw was there since it was covered with silicone from the factory, but it’s fixed, and I changed the oil because the manual and the dealer recommended to change the oil after the first fuel tank since It doesn’t have an hour meter but it’s running good know, the speed collar was just removed and it’s way faster. But I do plan on getting a dynatech cdi box exhaust performance air cleaner and jet the carb

Hi, i had this problem with my LT50, i went through everything, i then cleaned the carburetor and reset the throttle float. Doing this i unscrew the adjustment screw then put a light on one side of the carburetor and looked through the other side, i then adjusted the screw so that i could just see some light from the other side, about a fag papers thickness, not much! Now runs perfectly. Its worth checking and trying. Good luck.

Thanks for the advise, the problem was in the carburetor adjustment on the part throttle screw, but mine was covered with silicone from the factory but it’s fixed now.

Yes I have found the lack of power issue my stock carburetor has another adjustment screw that was covered with some sort of sealant I removed the sealant and adjusted it while running engine has power again and doesn’t die anymore at full throttle, the only thing I’m not sure about is my crankcase pressure if it excessive or normal? But it’s running good at this time I’ve been busy with work but as soon as I get a chance I’ll make another video with what fixed mine, thank you for the interest

Wait i have the same problem and the fuel screw was the problem run the atv and adjust it its little hard🥲

Yeah it was the fuel screw I installed the cr7hsa ngk spark plug still had the same problem I found a manual online for the carburetor n found that my fuel screw was covered with some sort of sealant after I removed it I adjusted the screw all the way in and found it ran good at 1 3/4 turns out, thanks for the help 👍🏽

I hope you got it going seems like these 50cc cause problems and they're more expensive than the big quads for adults and we all love our kids so we hate to see problems. I sure hope you get it going
