Cammy - I have a little request. My favorite part of Lambing is that murmuring noise the ewe makes over her lambs. It just makes me happy. Would love to have a bit of that in a vlog. or even let us enjoy the sound of the birds and the sheep. It's not often I'm happy to see ads on a video, but I'm very glad that this one didn't get demonetized.

In June 2000... Glencoe when a very large sheep high up to my left on a cliff out of my view lept over the bonnet of my car onto the roadway of oncoming traffic and off into the green valley. No one was hurt.🙏 For many years after driving all of Scotland and the Isles, as well as other countries with free range, I was always on the alert. In 2022 I acquired a very large😊 whitetail deer stag as a bonnet ornament late at night near Aberdeen....Maryland, USA. Both stag & car were totaled. (Nearly everything in Harford County has been named for my beloved Scotland......the glens, valleys, woods, hills, streams, golf courses & roads.) But my heart has always been and will always be...in the Highlands where the red deer run❣️🏴

If the owners of the six dogs get fined, that should go to pay for the electric fence. I don't know with the courts in Scotland if they can make the criminal pay restitution.

Let’s hope that we get some decent weather soon and that lambing hasn’t been too soul destroying for you 🐑

Awe Cammy, you do look bit less tired today. 👍🏻 this dog business makes me very angry for you. That is not responsible dog ownership. I’ve never been around a farm or farm animals and I’ve enough sense to know that pets that are used to leash walking, feel as though they’ve hit the jackpot when the lead comes off and , look, there’s sheep to chase. Smh…just annoys me deeply. Hope things go smoothly with weather coming in. Loved seeing you just sitting in the moto taking it all in…seems to make the stress worth it. Thanks Cammy for the daily lambing vids, I look forward to these about midday in Nashville. 🙏🏻🫶🏻🐑xx

Electric fence the area close to the path, think its the right call -you might get the usual ''oh, my dog got a shock' crowd but a nice big 'caution electric fence' sign will cover you there? no idea how long an area you can fence but the whole length of the path might be worth it? cracking vlog. So next time its easy to catch them by just standing on the twine. Greetings From holland.

🇨🇦 stopping at 4:44 and thinking in my head . Would it be possible to take a few pet lambs, from the shed, along, to foster onto these great moms with loads of milk, right in the field , with all the fluids readily available ?
@lizzythomson44619 ай бұрын
Hi Heather, we would only do this on a single and really the singles have been so big that it wouldn’t really work with one of the pet lambs which is often a smaller triplet, we did try one the other day and bought it back to the pens but the big lamb kept bullying off the smaller lamb so we just let it go back as a single. If we were lambing all singles and triplets in a shed we would likely try a few more. Hope that helps.

I expect it would definitely deter the problem in your area. I wonder if it would also help the rest of us if perpetrators were more worried about their reputations. I don’t know.
