I replaced the top with a whole new frame and mechanism. It’s automatic but with the motors disengaged just for the sake of closing the top what I ran into is the back part won’t close fully. Like it won’t make contact with the tonneau cover. There’s like a quarter inch space. So basically the back is lifted up a tiny bit. Any idea what can be causing it. I don’t care for putting the top down I just want it sealed because at the moment water would just pour right it.

Detention straps are also another reason for this

I have that exact issue rn, I tried what you said and it didn’t really work, but when I turned them too much the front hooks don’t go all the way down, any recommendations

Tensioning straps, when those wear out it also does that. I figured that out later on in life
